Nice pull by James Gunn (he’s married to the main blonde)
This show was a great, quick binge this weekend. Really enjoyed it.

I just finished binging it. What an experience.
I almost completely lost my shite when the White Dragon batted Eaglie out of the sky and it looked him he died. As dumb as it sounds, Eaglie was my favorite part of the show.

You can take my Hedwig but you can't take my Eagly.

The big fight at the end was great. Loved that we finally got to see peacemaker kicking arse.

even though they made sure to say that the libertarian view of freedom is "proto-fascist".
Peacemaker's views were called proto fascist. They weren't saying all libertarian views are fascist.
Don't forget that before he joined the team he would go around murdering anyone he suspected of a crime and didn't care if he accidentally took out innocents b/c he believed the ends justified the means for society as a whole.

Finished it last last. Really good season finale to wrap up just a surprising great show. When AB hit the jet pack helmet or whatever it was called and went straight past them and flew into the wall I was dying laughing. "I told you not to do that."
With The Batman series coming and possibly the Penguin series, DC might be able to string up a good universe if they can tie everything together right. It doesnt seem like Aquaman, the Flash and Wonder Woman are going to do much with it

Yeah this show was a lot of fun. Cena is perfect for that role

Really had little to do w/keeping the continuity straight.
That was mainly fallout from the Feige v Perlmutter feud.

This was probably my biggest complaint of the show. Seemed like they didn’t do him a lot of justice kicking arse wise.

I don't think she was calling all his views as proto-fascist, she was specifically describing his idea of freedom as proto-fascist and libertarian. She said "Why did you not choose to help them? Because of your proto-fascist libertarian idea of freedom?" I'm pretty sure that by her describing his idea of freedom as "proto-fascist libertarian" she didn't mean either adjective to be complimentary, and that she views the two adjectives in a similarly condescending way.
At least that is how I took it.

just binged this weekend with the wife... we loved it. if you haven't seen it, yet, this gif should be all that you need.
also, i've never heard of "Peacemaker" or "Vigilante" before this show or Gunn's "The Suicide Squad", but Vigilante definitely came across as very Deadpool-like. All that was missing from him was breaking the 4th wall.

spoiler response:
when she was going on about that, i was like, "great, they just had to use that as an excuse in this show, and shoehorn it into the finale."
i actually thought the opposite though. i thought he was going to fall for it. but when he activated the helmet, and had Adebayo kill the cow, it was quite shocking. wasn't expecting that.
not sure why he took Goff home though. we see him give it/he/her the last of the food he had. wonder how they keep it going forward with him having Goff as a "pet".

There was no doubt in my mind Peacemaker was going to refuse the butterfly, what she was saying sounded like a John Kerry speech.
