What story do you have about a restaurant being ridiculously out of something?

Inspired by the hashbrown shortage.

I went to a restaurant and they were out of ketchup. And there was a grocery store across the street.

I survived, but it was hard.

I’ve been to two different restaurants that were out of green beans. Two. Months apart. Wtf. Can they not go to the grocery store?

i swear, hand on a bible, this is true:

after katrina lsu vs ASU was moved to tempe. we drove from the bayou to houston to fly out on the friday since msy was closed. we stopped at a burger king in iowa to eat on the way. i remember vividly that they were playin high school football in town that night and you could see the lights and no one else was there because of the game. anyway, i go to order my food and ask for a double whopper (i'm fat). the girl behind the counter said "we're out of double whoppers, only single"

again, this 1000% happened!
