At the same time ala World War Two.

China into Taiwan.

Russia into Ukraine.

Same week, perhaps even the same day.

You should be giddy then. Bring on the communist overlords right? Equality for all? Justice, a loving government that is here to take care of you.

I mean, it’s basically utopia living under the communist Chinese and the strong arm of Putin.

Daddy government is here for you babe. Aren’t you excited? Can’t you just wait to be loved by daddy government even harder?

Probably.

It is honestly the perfect time to do it.

World’s economic engine is already screwed up.

No one will want to rock the boat and retaliate.

It’s infinitely more likely that neither event will happen at all.

Smart timing if you're them.

Neither one of them trusts the other as far as they can throw them though. I could see either side backstabbing one another to cripple them as competition. They are an alliance, but one of them will brutally backstab the other before this is all said and done. The alliance is kind of like Sauron (which would be China) and Saruman (which would be Russia). Both know this is going to end with some confrontation between the other, but for now their interests align.

They’re going to make it your fricking business when they take over the world chip supply. You think the supply chain and prices are bad now, wait until China invades Taiwan. I’m sorry, but confrontation with China is inevitable since we can not live in a world controlled by the CCP.

They’re just wanting to spread their equitable economic model which is overseen by their benevolent governments.

White House would issue a very strong statement. And that would be the end of it until they strike American interests directly. But would be too late by then.

We are seeing a repeat of the late 1930’s. Japan making moves into Manchuria. Germany annexing the Sudetenland. Appeasement and weak leadership.

The dementia patient President* Biden, his gaggle of leftist hen handlers and his woke generals stupidity in Afghanistan is like an open invitation for that kind of highly dangerous move.

There have been reports that Russian officials have stated that an agreement/understanding is in place between Russia and China that if Ukraine attacks the Donbass or if large numbers of NATO troops are stationed in Ukraine or if the US places a missile system there (similar to the ones in Poland and Romania), Russia will invade and China will attack Taiwan. Also that if Taiwan declares independence, China attacks and Russia invades Ukraine at the same time. Russian officials have stated/told other officials this publicly. Is it true, who knows? But Russia and China have formed a defacto alliance and held military exercises together last summer in China. They are sharing/cross training on military technology also.

When you start seeing Chicom troops holding military exercises with Russians on Europe's/Nato's border many of the Eastern NATO member countries are going to shite a brick.

You’re getting downvoted but this is 100% correct. It’s one of the fatal flaws of totalitarianism. You are unable to have “allies” for long. Especially with other totalitarian regimes. Eventually at some point in time their roads will part and they will throw down against each other.

Just depends on if they make it far enough down the road to meet that fork.

I don't think an attack is going to happen the way you are saying. As long as Putin and Xi can get what they want without kinetic war, they will go that route. They are not stupid, and know how to maneuver, modern warfare is quite a bit different than WW2 era.

Ukraine will be much easier for Russia than Taiwan for China. Roll tanks across the border and the rout is on.

Amphibious assault is a tricky business. Landing craft have to be deployed and are subject to bombing and strafing. Landing on a beach and running into gunfire and artillery is no picnic. Can China do this? Have they ever?

Taiwan is armed to the teeth. China will have it's troops butchered, but won't care. They may eventually prevail unless they run out of parachutes and landing craft. Which could happen.

If Potatohead intervened, along with India , Viet Nam and others it could be a disaster for China. But China has bought their man.

And there’s not a damn thing we will do about it. We are a nation of weak willed soy boys obsessed with bullshite meaningless minutiae. We are no longer focused on things that really matter. We are living in the last days of Rome.

Vietnam and India will not intervene. This administration has totally screwed the pooch on pulling Vietnam into an alliance. The foreign policy debacles of this bunch are epic.

India is China's number one adversary in the region, but India is hedging it's bets. Putin is in India as we speak and it has been announced that the Russians are selling them S-400 missile systems and they will be installed there. Russia and India's relationship goes way back and is deep.
