My God, man, are you employed at the Pentagon or the NSA? Only someone of that ineptitude could come to this conclusion. Putin is 69 y.o., in the early stages of Parkinson’s and the richest man in Eurasia. He couldn’t give a flying frick about popularity, regionally or worldwide. Putin is incredibly smart and realizes this is his legacy, one that could last a thousand years if someone doesn’t come along and frick it up. Mother Russia whole again, they’ve wanted the Crimea since they lost it in 1856. Russia back in the hunt as a world superpower and not just as a military juggernaut, but economically and culturally. This is his Peter the Great moment and he’s not gonna let the Ukraine, Biden, nor China steal his thunder.

Obviously that sets up for a world war type of scenario. Should China be cautious at all about the United States? Will Russia be content to just take Ukraine?
By the way I knew sooner or later the world would catch up with the Green New Deal and Build Back Better and whatever the hell else they want to do. Brandon could have some real stuff to take care of and it he can't we always have Kamala or Nancy or maybe even Susan Rice or Barak or Michelle or Joy Behar.

Russia into Ukraine is incredibly likely. Putin's desire to control pipelines into Europe is a huge asset for them and the Euros are too content/dumb to realize that Mommy Russia's ideals of Communism and BDSM means they get to punish you and you don't get to get off. Tanks roll, the Eastern Bloc gets a good look at Mom amassing on the border while the westerners behind them continue to pretend nothing happened.
China on the other hand is completely tied at the hip to the World Economy and in particular the US Economy it's tied on with. Their own ship is sinking but not sunk. I don't see them making a move unless the Russia wave rocks too many boats.
