We've done the usual Bourbon & Egg Nog and Hot Buttered Rum (just ok). Anyone have any ideas or recipes?

We do a milk punch with fresh grated nutmeg....sorta christmasy, it gets everyone drunk. I use brandy, vanilla ice cream, milk, vanilla, and then I'll add other things to taste. Sometimes cinnamon or amaretto. Just start with a fifth brandy and add to it until it taste good. You can mix bourbon in or just use bourbon in the place of brandy but the females like the brandy version more. I've also mixed vodka and kahlula in it as well. I joke that when I make it, I just clean out the liquor cabinet.

List from the local cocktail bar’s Christmas pop up. I have intention of making most of these in the coming weeks.

A carajillo is always a popular after dinner drink at our house.

Consist of layers of Licor 43, Coffee/Espresso, and frothed milk.

Tasty and visually appealing.

Saw this rum punch on The Kitchen the other day. Thought it looked tasty.

Cranberry Margarita
I made a homemade cranberry jam then mixed it with orange juice and lime juice. And tequila.
Did a mixture of salt, sugar, cloves, ginger and cinnamon on the rim of the glasses.

Jam was fresh cranberries, agave nectar and lime juice.

We had a pretty good drink at a bar a few weeks ago.

Fireball whiskey, vodka, white cranberry juice, grenadine, ginger-ale.

Rum or Vodka
Apple Cider
Prosecco
Lemonade
Cinnamon sticks
Apple slices
Orange slices
Lemon slices
Ginger slices

I threw this punch together last year and it was pretty tasty. I'm sure it can be modified to something better, but it was definitely a hit that I plan to do again this year.

Gin & tonic garnish with cranberries and rosemary sprigs.

Super simple and looks festive, like an ornamented Christmas tree.

Geese A-Laying Cocktail. It's always been a hit at every Christmas Party where I've made it.

Ingredients - 20ml Grey Goose Vodka
10ml Cointreau
20ml plum jam
10ml lime juice
Top with prosecco

Method: Shake all ingredients (except the prosecco) over ice. Strain into a Champagne flute and top with prosecco.

Tom and Jerry’s would be great as long as having hot milk on hand won’t be too much work. You’ll have to make the batter beforehand as well.

For our party we are going to make a "White Christmas" Sangria and a Grinch Punch for the non-alcoholic option.
