Gulf Shores golf club or Peninsula. Been a while but I’ve played both a few times and they were always in great shape.

Kiva Dunes for sure. Gorgeous track. Craft Farms courses are nice as well. Kiva is just on another level in that area.

I just played Gulf Shores Golf Club on Thursday.

I would avoid. Waste of $85. Fairways were nice. Greens were absolute shite. Looked like they haven’t mowed in weeks. Running about 7-8 on stimp with a lot of bumps. Edges of greens were dirt.

Me and my pops were literally the only people on the course and I know why.

Play kiva, peninsula, or craft.

When it used to be like $50 I enjoyed it but it's definitely not worth what they charge. Sure, Peninsula is more expensive but it's a much better course.

I played Kiva Dunes while I was down there in June. Highly recommended. Unfortunately it's the only course I played in the area so I have no comparisons.

Completely disagree about Kiva Dunes; it has gone downhill in recent years.

Play Peninsula and if you don't mind driving 45 minutes from Gulf Shores, go play Rock Creek in Fairhope; easily the best course in the area.

I just played Kiva and Peninsula this weekend. Both were great, but Kiva was the group favorite. Wasn’t a fan of the OB stakes right on the cart path at peninsula on several holes but course conditions at both were awesome.

That's a shame. GSGC used to be the best bang for you buck by far in that area...

Played Soilders creek while down there last month. It was 65 for the round, fairways were in good shape and so were tee boxes, greens weren’t in the best shape.

I really liked the layout of the course. If it was slightly cheaper would play again at some point.

These are the last two courses I have played. Both were a lot of fun. You cant go wrong with either.

You sure they weren't surveyors stakes? Peninsula was sold a few months ago and a lot of the stakes from the property survey are still out there. The golf course property lines are very close to the fairways and greens on parts of the course.
