Yea, my thoughts are I love BREC and we need golf here. Less funding only hurts us. Kinda like removing your nose to spite your face.
Down voting going to the library with my kids is about as what’s wrong with Louisiana as anything I can think of.
I dunno. Go so often wiht my kids. We always have so much fun getting movies and books. They have a ton of good golf books and I bet I could get a program there that is like entry level golf with kids, families.

This room thing is what I’m struggling with. I think subconsciously I bend my arms so my club doesn’t ground out. How do you fit it in??

Man I wish I had something golf related to share but I can say my aunt was about your age when she got her hip replaced and has resumed skiing. For some reason I believe it’s an easier recovery that like a knee.
“What don’t think you are? He did”

“Burns, baby. Burns!”

Think I even heard a few old school “Bababooey!”
Bryson and Rahm look like crap.

Chicken wing

I’m making good contact lately but when I film my swing my right (trail) elbow next gets straightened out. I basically turn my body wiht the swing and my arm follows without getting straight. Through a head on video I see my lead elbow is doing it too.
How to fix??
Anyone know why varsity wants to gut it? I spent years running the outside of that golf course, by the lakes. Great running spot.
They already have the little splash pad back there, and do movies on that lawn behind the art gallery. I don’t get it.

Ha ha. You should maybe stop playing, no joy in bogey golf guy. Lord. I feel you hit at the same time… 35 years and quarter of a million dollars? What the heck?
Played a full round at beaver creek with one vice “drive” ball.
Feel pretty good about my game!

But fairways all day with my g30. Gonna just keep my eye on eBay and one day pull trigger on g425 or better

I wonder if this 65 R shaft is weird. Don’t most regulars weigh 50g?

Thanks for yalls input. Man, the old Ping I have is pretty gosh darn forgiving. Mishits generally work out.
But with my swing speed I’m pretty sure I’m stuck with the regular shaft.

Where to get fitted? I’ve heard different reviews of golftec, is it worth it for a fitting?

Driver upgrade

Aside from the obvious joy of having a new toy, would there be an advantage for a low 90s golfer to upgrade his pg30 driver? I hit it great; would a g430 give me another 10 yards off the tee?

Choking up

How often do you guys choke up to change distances, how often do you do it and what kind of changes in distance are you creating?
I’m talking 115 yards or so in.

Shot 90 from the blues at Santa yesterday. Played so much better, spent a few days tracking shots like yall said and guess what; they all fade right!
Started aiming left of green and fading it in. Did it always go right? Nope, but the majority did so that’s all I’m doing now. Aiming left, fading right. Done with trying draws.
Hole 18 I needed a bird ti break 90. Hit a horrible drive pop up. Said f it, crushed a hybrid knowing it’s not my best club and can be slicey. Ended up staying in but right behind this little tree they have there on the pond. Next shot over tiny tree to green, about 110 yards. Miffed the birdie putt way short but made the 5 footer for par: 90.
So close to 80s.
