re: You Wade Nuthuggers gonna be good when the record this year will be worse than last year?
Posted by cfotiger on 5/12/26 at 5:08 pm to Jugular Joe
I'm not much of a Wade fan, but are you serious?
The team will be much improved; it's not possible to be as bad as last year's team. Did you go to any games? I suffered through many home games and the coaching was nonexistent. There was no energy, very little hustle and a complete lack of effort on defense.
The folded arms coach did absolutely nothing to make his team competitive.
If the record is worse, and I would wager quite a bit it will not be, it will only be because LSU didn't play pre-conference patsies to pad their record like was done un McMahon.

Hilarious.

I respectfully completely disagree.
These are skilled college and paid players; they should be yanked when they commit stupid plays. Leaving them in the game just reinforces bad play.
That is one of the biggest issues I had with McMahon. His players would make a bonehead play and he would leave them in so they could make more bonehead plays.

I understand your comments are your opinion; however there are so many inaccuracies in what you say.
First of all, have you been to an LSU women’s game? I have season tickets and can testify the atmosphere is electric, the quality of play improves every year, and the team is well coached.
You are missing out.

Would love to buy 2 for Saturday finals.

Let's geaux. About time we commit to the basketball program.

I'm right there with him. I have had season tickets myself or though my dad for 50 years.
I have stuck it out through the Trent Johnson and Johnny Jones years and now the McMahon disaster.
Why is it so hard to understand? It's not "pretty weird". If you had been a long-time supporter, perhaps you would understand. He and I and many others have finally reached the end of the road, so to speak. If the LSU admin doesn't make a change, it shows complete lack of interest in providing a quality basketball program. Yes, we have seen a lot of mediocre and terrible basketball over the years, but we have also seen a lot of quality and SEC championship basketball over the years and know what the program is capable of with the right leadership.

re: Las Vegas golf, headed there Monday for 6 days , any insight or opinions

The Paiute courses are ok. I have played about 15 courses in Vegas and the surrounding error.
Like others in the thread have said, WOLFE CREEK for sure. It's a good 1 hour and 15 minutes north of Vegas in Mesquite, NV but well worth renting a car and making the drive. You likely have never played any course like it.
I like Rio Secco (I think they recently renamed it to Serket Golf Club); it's not the best conditions but some of the holes are amazing (tee box on one side of the canyon and green on the other side, etc)/
Reflection Bay on Lake Las Vegas in Henderson is a great course.
I liked Bear's Best which Jack designed and copied some of his favorite holes.
If you have any reciprocity get your pro to get you on SouthShore Country Club in Henderson. It's a private course you don't wish to miss.
I also liked the two courses at Revere Golf Club. The courses are on a plateau overlooking Las Vegas; beautiful scenery as well as fun golf.
Lastly, consider using VIP Golf Services. They can arrange all your tee times, are familiar with all of the courses, and can steer you away from courses that have greens under repair, etc.

re: MBB operates at a profit- no matter the record.Save the $ & let Mc contract expire

You must not be a true LSU fan. You say "the record doesn't matter"?
1. It matters because the basketball program would bring in a lot more revenue if it had a competitive team (concessions, ticket sales, apparel, etc.)
2. It matters because a successful basketball program is better for the students and the fans.
3. It matters because a successful basketball program is not an embarrassment to the school like the current program is.
4. It matters because true LSU fans want LSU to be successful in ALL sports, not just football and baseball.
5. It matters because LSU can be a powerhouse in basketball with the right coach. Why should we accept such a low class program?

re: How many of you LSU fans actually attended college at LSU?
Posted by cfotiger on 1/16/26 at 1:27 pm to ManBearSharkReb
Let's see ...
1. Went to UHS on the LSU campus from 2nd through 12th grade.
2. Earned an undergraduate degree and graduate degree from LSU.
3. Taught as an adjunct professor for 30 years at LSU.
4. All 3 of my sons graduated from LSU.
5. My dad was a professor for 25 years at LSU.
Somehow, I'm a diehard LSU fan.

Yep
Damn Carter, I was taught to respect other people's opinions, but there is no way to respect this level of stupidity.
Be patient; it will work out in our favor.

Lmao. So you enjoy high school football more than college football?
Ok, I guess, to each his own.
You obviously are not much of an LSU fan. There really is no comparison. College football is superior to high school football ball in every single aspect!.

Definitely play La Cana. I believe they have 3 9s; make sure you play the one along the Caribbean.
You'll thank me later; the course is in great shape and the scenery is breathtaking. I played there last December.

re: Time for new defensive coordinator

Hmmm, with a decent offense that couldn’t move the ball, our defense was damn good
Imagine being an Aggie fan; life really does suck.
Your post is embarrassing. You are quick to criticize and yet, you are part of the problem. What a hypocritical attitude.
re: Skyline club....Does anyone know what type of food is included?
Posted by cfotiger on 9/14/25 at 9:13 pm to lsugrldej8
Don’t do it. Food is decent but you are so high up, the players look like ants. I sat up there in the 3rd qtr last night and went back to my regular seats in the bowl by the start of the 4th qtr. I will never sit up there again.
