Overall a great track. Great people! Grass conditions were solid when I played there two weeks ago. Greens were slick. Rolled better than their appearance.

There are certainly some really tough holes there that are just fun to play. 2, 6, 10, 11, 12 are quite demanding.

Practice facilities are great too!

Give it a go!

Oh I’ve got one of those! It’s an old Arnold Palmer branded toy - it’s in my office and is a ton of fun!

Never too old!

Several options. But where do you live? Greater BR area?

TPC and Carter aren’t comparable. TPC is hands down the better track.

Qi35 fairway woods are really good. I have a 7 wood core model and have loved it. Plenty of pga players using these as well.
Matt at Schneider’s is great! I’m not sure what driver heads he has to demo. But he has tons of shaft options and is a good golfer himself.

re: The Bluffs??

Yeah. That’s based on costs I’ve seen from a golf course architect for the Bluffs specifically to bring back to life. Plus costs for other golf projects. Bluffs is like 500 acres. You can burn thru $12–15M amazingly fast on that track. Plus schedule duration is going to be quite long - with weather impact in Louisiana. Will easily blow that budget out of the water.

More like $25-30M. That place is huge and will take a massive undertaking to bring it back to life. Good luck.

I just ran in to Coach Mulkey grabbing crawfish this evening on Perkins. I told her to Finish Strong. She said - we wore those girls out yesterday - they got their tails beat today!!! She said ‘we will’ to finish strong.

5 lbs with potatoes was her order.

Let’s ride!! Mulkey is locked in.
A fitting with someone who knows what they are doing would help you too for sure.
You should definitely go get fitted. Take your time and find something you like. It will help for sure.

7 wood is the bomb. Try a 9 wood too. I have a 7w and love it. Carries 235/240. And flies like a wedge. Lands soft. Peak height on mine will get way up there.

Go give it a shot. I have a qi35. Standard stock stiff shaft that TM has.
7 woods are amazing. If you haven’t hit one. Give it a shot.
Second that. 7 wood is amazing and should be tried by anyone and everyone!
These are great!

Elyte Max 9 deg driver. Ventus Velocore+ Black 6-X.

Srixon ZXi 3+Wood. 13.5. Denali Blue Xstiff.

Qi35 7 wood. 21 degree. Ventus Std. Stiff.

Zx5 4 iron. Project X 6.5.
P750 Proto 5 iron. Project X 6.5.
P7TW 6 iron - PW. Project X 6.5.

TM MG 52 Deg. Project X 6.0.
TM MG4 56/55 & 60. S300.

Mini Jail Bird. Crank Hosel. 34 inch.

All irons are std length. 2 deg flat.

(Toying around with Vokey 60 08M and 58 04T to test them out again)
That seems like plenty of room and 10’ should work fine. We have this one setup and I love it! Has everything you need!!!

What’s your plan Pirate King? Someone needs to decide if we are going to compete or not. Clearly MM ain’t the answer.
