Saw this coming home yesterday and had to take a picture?? Since when did this become a common occurrence? I saw a couple others for bachelorette trips but I feel like the divorce on is a bit much. What does the rant think?

It's the same sort of mindset that everyone deserves a tip no matter how little they helped you (although albeit slightly lower since this is straight up asking for money).

..is because it works. If people didn't send money, they wouldn't ask for it. Same thinking behind dudes these days hitting on everything that moves via apps and social media and sending dick pics out like candy...because as long as it works here and there it's a net positive for them. So why not.
Think of it as a "you miss all the shots you don't take" mentality.

I saw a Venmo in a woman’s car for the first time when I was driving back from Louisiana a few weeks ago.
Can’t remember if it was for a wedding, bachelorette, divorce, baby, etc, but it struck me as both puzzling (what random stranger would ever send anything?) and pretty trashy.
And I think I’m more forgiving on trashiness than most of the OT.
