i feel like there’s only 2 US football team’s fanbases a who can party with LSU. Buffalo Bills and West Virginia Mountaineers.

This I can confirm after attending the LSU game in Morgantown….they definitely have a great tailgate atmosphere.

Wtf. LSU is great for tailgating but it’s not even close to the Mecca of it. Tailgating is not owned by the SEC.

Then who does it better as a whole? SEC tailgating especially for big games is the pinnacle of tailgating. I’m not saying it’s better than anyone else, plenty of others do it well also.
But a top 10 SEC match up is almost always fantastic tailgating.

LSU is close to the mecca for CFB tailgating, actually. I think the tailgating itself (size, scope, density, etc.) isn't any better than the other big SEC schools, but it has an argument based on the cuisine and the general Louisianan over the top-ness.
There are likely some other CFB programs who can hang with the SEC, but if there are 10 or 12 great tailgating schools and 6-8 are in the SEC, I think it's pretty fair to say CFB tailgating is "owned" by the SEC.

That's cause it is. Every poll or article I've read ranks LSU No. 1 tailgate atmosphere. Certainly ain't Georgia, and yes I've been there several times.

I've been to all the SEC venues except aTm and Mizzou, plus WVU and several others. I'd rate LSU #1, no question. Other SEC schools, including Auburn, do a good job too, but LSU is #1 in tailgating.

I remember after we parked one of our group Said they had heard bad things about WV fans and commented that “we may have to fight our way out of this thing”! Truth be told our experience was nothing but positive. Oh there is always some random jackleg being obnoxious but the WV fans were great to hang out with. We called their tailgate atmosphere LSU East. Great time. Practically every tailgate had moonshine at it. Just about every flavor you can imagine. No joke at one of the porta-can near us they would let the lsu fans cut in line. Strange I know but honest truth. Their stadium ran out of beer I think late in the 2nd quarter. The locals sitting around us said that had never happened before. LSU fans doing what they do. Great time. If you ever get a chance make a game there.

We were in Nashville a few years ago when the Bills were playing the Titans. The Bills fans were freaking crazy.
Those people party like South la does but every Bills fan we met seemed like they are all over 6' and over 300lbs
