When Scruffy got a new job.

Two years ago. Got a 5% raise this past year.
Thinking I may have to switch companies to get my next big one. Pretty content with the money I'm making currently, though.

Last year. 6% and I earned earned every penny. Didn't need a union and won't be blind donating any of it to Democrats.

When I got promoted. I’ve never gotten anything over 3-5% without a promotion or changing jobs.

Define meaningful.
Alabama teachers got a decent raise a few years ago, but inflation took a shite on it.

In the restaurant business and my company gave significant raises to all managers and above 2 years in a row to combat turnover…this year it went back to performance based and I got a bigger than normal raise…probably been given 18% in the last 3 years…which is way more than pre-pandemic raises.

About a year ago. On track to get another one next year.

A couple of months ago. Have gotten 10% or so per year for the last 2 or 3 years. I like my job so that's nice.

Last raise I got at a job was 9%. 6 months later I changed jobs for a 66% increase. Taught me a valuable lesson.

Last year got over 10 percent, then another 4 percent for the yearly bump. Shooting for a promotion here in the next year that should be a pretty big jump. Fingers crossed.

I got a 40% increase by finding another job and turning in my notice. I knew I had the upper hand. I was the only one who knew how to handle multiple situations that came up frequently. Found another gig making what I wanted to make, and the company gave me the raise.
The job that offered me a job was a 30 minute further drive and I ultimately didn't want to make that drive, but I was annoyed that I had to jump through the hoops of leading another company on to get what I was worth.
Once again, I currently find myself in a situation where a couple of layers up the chain DO NOT want to lose me. . . Thinking about doing it again.
ETA. This was about a year ago.

I’ve gotten 3 to 4% a year for 21 years at the same company.

Only had meaningful “raises” by applying to a different company
