1-2 days and a few dirty towels.

Lets say $120-150/night.

Either this is your first time in a hotel or you’ve fallen into the trying way too hard bunch

If my ex-wife or my kids were staying with me, $5 a night. Otherwise, I've done 80% of the cleaning before I leave, and me not turning down room service gets them paid for "cleaning" a room where they replace two towels and a glass.

I have tipped hotel maid service maybe twice my entire life. I always tip wait staff/room service/bartenders/valets/sky caps really well but just never think about tipping when the person isn't standing there.

I’ve never tipped hotel cleaning crew. Didn’t know it was a thing until this thread. Had a maid clean her way into $120 out of my pocket a few years back and ever since I’ve been careful to not leave anything valuable around the room where they could steal.

Agreed, I just tip housekeeping when I know I'm staying in a Marriott full of heathen lacrosse kids from Oklahoma and Dallas. Just so I'm the smallest a-hole in the hotel that weekend.

A real OT baller has flats in every major city with staff on payroll to tidy up after.

What the bell is wrong with some of you?
Why the hell are you helping the hotel pay for their employees to do the job they are paid to do?
Do you tip people that hold the door open for you too?
