Jimbo has coached 4 1st round qb's. Man you suck

That's actually putting it mildly.

You O guys have to stop looking at one fricking game as the key indicator. Look at the resume.
Jimbos resume is infinitely better than O, and better than anyone else not named saban or Meyer.
There is not one person outside of louisiana that think O is a better candidate than a guy that won the NC 3 years ago. And has an 8-1 record against the SEC

I think Orgeron is the better pick in some ways than Fisher.

It's hard not to react negatively when after 12 years of Les Miles, there's an actual chance that they could hire another f'n line coach.
Except this time, it's a guy with a shite resume and apparently his only skills are recruiting and motivatation. They say Jimbo is and has always been Alleva's guy. I hope that to be the case.

If you think we're waiting until after Christmas when the NFL season is over to hire a coach, then you just don't get it. If we don't have a coach in 3 weeks Alleva failed miserably.

Yeah, I know, right? If people could just think back like 3yrs, maybe people would remember what Jimbo was really made of. Such short attention spans, some people.
So we're going to hold Jimbo accountable for some of his past but not Orgeron going 3-21 as a full time head coach?

I'm here to tell you for an absolute fact you don't remember it anywhere near as good as you think you do
What year was this game again?
This is what is so wrong about the world today. People being completely convinced of something when they don't know dick about what they are talking about

You mean the 9-6 game that doesn't exist under Fisher?
Do you mean the 2004 10-9 loss where we had a young Russell and Marcus Randall at QB? An Auburn team that only went undefeated.
Do you mean the 2006 7-3 loss where Miles kept running a broke down Alley Broussard or Justin Vincent into a brick wall? There were also more than one questionable calls in that game that went Auburn's way.
Get your facts straight before you start spouting an opinion.

vividly? no LSU vs Auburn game has ever ended with a 9-6 score, so not sure how you're vividly remembering one.
can i guess that you're actually only vaguely remembering the 10-3 game from '06?
and that is what you're using to eliminate Jimbo? one game 10 years ago?
then how do you feel about O losing to Arkansas by 40 the very next year?

What 9-6 game are you talking about? The only game I remember with that score was Tuscaloosa 2011, which LSU won.
If you're referring to the 7-3 debacle in 2006, do some research before you start casting aspersions on Fisher. Miles interfered with the offense throughout that game, and some have insinuated that this was the game that made Fisher decide to leave at the end of the year.

Fisher costs 6 million. O would probably cost 3. I'm not sure there would be a substantial difference between
more like 6.5 or 7 for Fisher plus a huger buyout, 3 to 3.5 with Orgeron and no buy out.
The main argument for Fisher seems to be that he is a good x and o offense coordinator. So 7 million for a offense coordinator. I don't think O will have any trouble getting a great offense coordinator for that kind of money. Hell Ensmingers offense doesn't look that different from fishers. It's looks like a modern pro style offense to me for a hell of a lot less money.

You get what you pay for... Going cheap here would be a terrible move for our program.

I'm amazed that a coach with such great credentials (82% winning percentage at major university, 1natty, 3 conference titles in 7 seasons) can be trashed so much.
Trying to use recruiting and producing a Heisman trophy winning QB as being a negative is amazing to me.

Why would Bill O'Brien be fired? He gonna win his division and go back to the playoffs

The lowest SEC salary is Mullen at $4.2 mil. If you think O would take anything less than 4, you're dreaming.
Second, you get what you pay for. How's Mullen doing over at Moo State? When's the last time they were relevant in the SEC?

Other than recruiting
I think it's a wash on the recruiting front. What you lose if bolts, you gain with Fisher. The man has pulled in some pretty ridiculous offensive classes. LSU's defense and Aranda will pretty much recruit itself as time goes on. That defense with Aranda at the helm will produce NFL players like nobody's ever seen. There could, literally, be 8 future NFL starters on this defense. Probably more.
So, all those idiots screaming recruiting because O have no idea what they're talking about. LSU has seen ZERO uptick in recruiting since he got here, it'll be the same if he's gone.

miles and jimbo argued all the time. You ignore all the Qb's he developed. You ignore his 2 sec titles and natty at LSU. You ignore his record breaking offenses at LSU in 2001 and 2003. You ignore his 29 game winning streak at FSU. You ignore his 4 ACC division and 3 ACC conference titles and a natty at FSU. You ignore him making the playoffs the next year after winning a natty at FSU.
ah but you DO remember a few bad games especially one where he had archaic offensive guru LES frickING MILES breathing down his neck? You think jimbo had full control? You're a moron if you believe that. Vrowton did not have full control either. We have 12 years of empirical evidence now that Miles was all up in everybody's Kool-aid and he did not even know the damn flavor!
GTFO!
