Don't be a homer. Arkansas usually ends up around 25 or so in recruiting. Iowa state ends up in the 50s or lower.
Iowa state is second fiddle to Iowa. I'm certain you pull less fans in the stadium than the Razorbacks do on gameday.
And even though very few of us actually have first hand knowledge of facilities Arkansas can and will be found on list for some of the best in the nation. Iowa state will not.

Auburn made the worst hire of their entire football history in hiring Gene Chizik who had a 5-19 record. They got a Natty out of it though.

Yeah they do. And Fayetteville is an awesome town.
It’s a sleeping semi-giant. Tons of money, excellent facilities, great city, recruit NLA/NETX, etc. They just suck at hiring coaches.

I’d agree if they were in the big 12. In the SEC I just have a hard time seeing them sustaining “giant” type success. Relying on too many programs to have down years. They’ve proven they deserve respect. 06 and 10, 11 teams were damn good.
A&M coming in to the SEC was a massive blow to their future success imo.
