LSU is about the best spot Brady could land as an inexperienced recruiter.

Out of obvious names I want Brady or Aranda. I think the offensive mind is the better bet. Also if Brady has a tight relationship with NFL guys it may help in finding good coaching talent.

The comparisons to Riley are all over the yard. Brady understands the blueprint. Hire an exceptional DC, be hands off, and let him do his thing.

I believe a Brady hire would send cold shivers thru the SEC

It's not going to happen though

Joe Brady seems awfully risky. 32 yrs old. Dude has about 11 minutes of real collegiate experience.

Still think he wants to sit in an nfl film room all day…but that would be awesome if he came.

Woodward is talking to people about coaches? That’s crazy!

So we don’t want any coordinators because they haven’t earned it. We don’t want coaches that have been successful for multiple years just because they are at smaller schools. Yet Brady we would be excited about who has never been a head coach. Yes our offense was great the year he was here. However we were also playing with basically an NFL roster on offense that year. I like the guy for what he did but would be hesitant over him taking over as THE guy. May be just me but there are others I would rather take a chance on before him

Thats nice and all, but the one year Brady was at LSU, we signed Max and TJ. Coming off a perfect season.

He could end up being a great coach, but without the ability to evaluate high school talent

I think he is using it for leverage for an NFL job. Which to me makes no damn sense. Looking at the coaching salaries for NFL compared to college I would personally choose college everyday of the week. But in my world money talks... maybe it doesnt in his.

am not saying Brady is getting the job but Woodward does not want to have to replace a coach every 2 years.
I really really really want a coach other people want to hire.

Lots of talk that Brady doesn't like recruit.

Are people that are in Aranda's corner forgetting he's not a big fan of it either?

Get this through your head. Brady fricking hates recruiting and has told the powers that be at LSU as much. Do you have the faintest idea of what goes into recruiting these days....remember this, Leo Lewis cost Moo State boosters 500K. Laquon Treadwell cost Holliday about 350K at Ole Miss. It's a dirty game, it takes a special kind of person to compromise himself .

LSU will pay more than an nfl would over the next 5-7 years of joe Brady’s career

We said the same thing when Miami was courting Saban.

Just saying...

I’d like to see JBrady back here as HC, or up there in cincy with Burrow again.

Doubtful.

Cincy seems to be in good hands at the moment.

No.

OC: sure.

Offer Aranda HC, and then throw money at Brady for OC.

Although, the more I look into Mel Tucker, the less I'm hesitant against that potential hire. Seems he's a program builder and the big question is his ability to maintain the program.

Not sold on Napier. Coastal Carolina's coach looks more appealing to me.

However, when comparing Tucker vs Napier, there is this to consider: Saban's Tree hasn't been particularly impressive, but there's more examples than Dabo's.

Dabo's tree seems to be one where they impress at small schools and lesser conferences, but fail tremendously at P5 programs.

Brady is too young and too unproven. I would be afraid the NFL would come calling if he had success at LSU, and he'd answer the call just like Saban did.

Brady would be an absolute home run.

I think he is woodward's number 1 guy. Don't be surprised if he pulls it off.
