Your hatred for Les has blinded you, perhaps you should seek counseling and consider the fact you may be wrong about of lot things...

So my statement of "is" a good coach, as in currently, seems to be lost on you given your list.

SO you're response to what was a response to someone saying Miles was never a good coach comes down to interpreting your intent based on the word is. I'm curious how you would expect a ZERO IQ fan to pick that up since you called me just that.
quote:

It's the hate for all you ZERO IQ fans that think hes a good coach.

Also note that you're intellectual superiority still allowed you to type in the word hes rather than he's or he is.

All that being said, at least give me your criteria for a good coach vs a bad coach so I know what to look for. Also, is Orgeron a good coach? You did not answer that. What about Dan Mullen, Tom Herman, PJ Fleck, Jimbo Fisher, Dabo Swinney, Kirby Smart. Trying to figure out how to bolster my IQ and all.

Sure, but name a coach that beat Saban at Bama more than Les did.

No one had the talent LSU had and faced him so many times.

Miles coached many of the teams that allowed LSU to claim the most NFL players from a single college team. Over the course of many years.

However, he did win 3 games.

But Saban's 1st year should not have mattered, LSU No3 in the country was loaded and Saban did not have a full recruiting class and was Ranked 17th.
We still trailed going into the 4th and had to have a strip sack from Chad Jones with 1:39 left to win.

Don't even get me started on what Miles did with an NC team that same year vs Kentucky and R Kansas.

Sheesh. Thats a whole lotta defensive typing over being called stupid. Maybe hits a little too close to home?

QB, LB, K, Oline, Dline, play calling, clock management, unwillingness to adapt, and ability to give a press conference without looking like you are in an advanced stage of dementia. These are the things, about Les specifically, that show very clearly how terrible things had gotten towards the end. I'd say unarguably, but so many people with high IQ around here and all.

More than any other coach owns over Saban while he's been at Alabama. LSU also owns more wins than any other SEC school from 2005-2015.

Tell us how LSU has done against Alabama since Les has been gone. Does 0-3 and 63-10 ring a bell?

Any one who thinks loses are more important than wins in a NC season is a fool.

Since hes been gone? Let's go back a little further. 5 straight losses under Miles. And his early wins were only because Bama wasn't built yet and Miles hadn't destroyed LSU yet.

That dude has a great financial guy in his corner, 1.5 from LSU extorted also

You don't seem to have really thought this through.

LSU would have been paying Miles the difference of his salary and his buyout. It was going to be one of three scenarios:

* LSU pays him a modest 1.5 to get out of the buyout completely
* LSU pays him at more than 1.5 over the next 5 years and basically subsidizes the Kansas Athletic Department
* Miles decides taking the Kansas job doesn't make sense financially and passes on the job which leaves LSU paying the entire buyout.

I think LSU was thrilled with the 1.5 settlement.

14 million dude really

Thats like $2.8 million a year. Based on this year's coaching salaries, he would rank around #47 in the country, which falls right between football powerhouses Vanderbilt and Memphis on coaching salary rankings. Miles will be the 2nd lowest paid coach in the Big 12, only ahead of Rhule at Baylor.

You can go back as you want. You will not find a period LSU was 39-0 against Alabama in two games in TS. Tell us how many times LSU was shut out in TS under Les.

Les plateaued at 9-10, no West title, and his offense wasn't what we wanted. We all know that. Tell me what has changed since he has been gone in those three areas? One thing, our offense is worse.

Nobody likes being called stupid.

I wouldn't think so, but I guess that stupid people never realize they are stupid.

I realy just have too much free time

quote:

QB, LB, K, Oline, Dline

All recruiting, in general. The K part is an issue for lord Saban as well, ask any Gump. I'm of the opinion that the Oline and Dline incoming talent was not bad at all in Miles later years. The ability to stay eligible was another matter.

quote:

play calling, clock management

Those are hard to argue with though I would say I think it wasn't quite the catastrophe some made it out to be.

quote:

unwillingness to adapt,

That is not uncommon when coaches have had years of success without adapting, but I also think he real downfall was loyalty to friends, like Cameron, rather than a stubborn adherence to a particular style That's again, just my take.
quote:

ability to give a press conference without looking like you are in an advanced stage of dementia.

Now you sound stupid, I didn't see the press conference but have had a neighbor and family members with advanced dementia and can tell you that showing up at a press conference and recognising the person giving you the mic is beyond the capabilities of someone with advanced dementia. Perhaps you meant early stages of dementia?

Lets all wish Les the best of luck elsewhere and move on.

In my professional opinion, Les is there to build the foundation and get the program back to bowl games.

If he tries to do things the way he always has, he’s going to get his arse stomped on a regular basis. His way will not score a lot of points, and he’s going to give up a lot of points.

He wouldn’t have lasted as long as he did at LSU without the elite defensive talent that LSU almost always has, and he won’t have anywhere near that talent there.

Ummm..... he's being paid less than a significantly worse coach in O who gets to pay his DC $2.5 Million on top of that and Crapp-E is getting $1 Million.

Yeah that happened so often at LSU.

LSU scored 33 a game in 2015. LSU hasn't seen that kind of scoring since.

We've got a good QB. The position looks in good shape for the foreseeable future. Les did too?

We've got an unbelievable kicker with more help on the way. What did Les leave us with?

We've got depth. Everywhere minus corner. Les had holes all over the field. Even our megastar ILB was moved to the position because we didn't have anyone else to play it.

The list goes on and on. But yall don't wanna hear any of that. You wanna know why Orgeron doesn't have any titles yet. Lol

Worth it if he can bring and edge back to Kansas. Say what you want about Les, but his team's were tough and they would hit you. That is not currently Kansas football.
