Les is about to bring the I-formation back to the big 12.
Honestly not a bad idea
Fullbacks might be a dying breed in college/NFL so you can usually find them when you need them pretty easily
If he can get some of the top fullbacks in the country at a school that can barely recruit that's a win

That is freaking stupid, the game has passed this guy 7 years ago
Don't worry ZED, Miles won't make 5 years. LOL, that's funny to think about.
Without the LSU brand to get NFL talent, Miles is nothing.
Not to mention, he is not following Saban again.

By year 4 under Les, KU will be in the Big 12 Title conversation with OU, Texas, and TCU/OkSt, if they get back on track.
I hope we can bring up this thread in four years to show how delusional young mindless fans become with hero worship.
It would take a Saban like personalty to make Kansas viable. Les isn't Nick!

Kansas would be better off, bringing in a sharp young up and coming coordinator to build the program. Guy brings his buddy Les in who is totally lost in the weeds since 2011

Beat Bama more than once and got 10 wins

3 top 20 finishes after finishing 2 in 2011. Yep, totally lost.

man, Les should improve that program. he will probably elevate the recruiting and the coaching if he makes good asst. hires. Kansas isn't LSU but there's plenty of room to improve.

quote:Not sure where you got that. I was very outspokenly supportive of firing Miles. If the issue is that I "worship" him because I recognize that he is a nationally proven and respected program builder with a near perfect record of clean running programs, then I guess I "worship" him?
hero worship.

Sure, but name a coach that beat Saban at Bama more than Les did.

Kansas is the worst job in the power 5 and probably the worst in the country. They are probably limited in the number of up and coming coordinators that are willing to go there.
If I have a choice between Kansas and a group of 5 job I’m taking the group of 5 job.

That dude has a great financial guy in his corner, 1.5 from LSU extorted also
LSU saved 5 million dollars. Miles had ALL the bargaining chips and LSU still only paid 1.5. Miles could have said give me 3.5 million or I’ll just stay on the couch for the full amount. Or even 4.5 million. I am shocked LSU’s admin was able to keep it that low.

It's the hate for all you ZERO IQ fans that think hes a good coach.
Give me your list of criteria for who is a good coach and who isn't. Is Orgeron a good coach? Was Archer a good coach? Was DiNardo a good coach?
Rank LSU's last 10 coaches in order and tell me why you ordered them as such.
Here is the list Chronologically (That's in order of when they coached, for you high IQ types). I didn't include Rein or Hunter because Rein never coached a game and Hunter only coached 1.
Deitzel
McClendon
Stovall
Arnsparger
Archer
Hallman
DiNardo
Saban
Miles
Orgeron

So my statement of "is" a good coach, as in currently, seems to be lost on you given your list.
