Meh. He has won 28 games through 3 years and inherited an absolute shite show
While he has lots of areas to criticize, I think a lot of programs would be ok being 4th in number of wins over the last 3 years

I think LSU is pretty good next year so not available. Sumrall to Arkansas would be a good hire I think.

Mel Tucker, Lou Tepper, Chad Morris, Your Sister, Warren Morris, Hue Jackson, Zach Morris and Lori Lightfoot are definitely going to be in the mix for a lot of jobs in the next few years imo

I did kind of sour on him a little with how the season ended (not counting the bowl game) but it would be beneficial to both him and Tulane to be together for next season.
Sumrall needs to do better coming off of bye weeks. He needs to either change his OC or take the handcuffs off of him because once Tulane played a team with equal or better talent they had no answer.
The Memphis and Army games reminded me of the Toledo/Curtis Johnson years where Tulane was completely outmanned.
If the staff knew what Mensah was doing (and it is seemingly like they were aware) Sumrall should have benched him or kicked him off the team and start anyone else.

Kelly is one of the top 5-10 coaches in cfb. There’s no debating it. He will consistently have his team in the discussion more years than not.

How come Freeman was able to get Notre Dame to beat Texas A&M and USCw? BK couldn't beat USCw and Texas A&M. Isn't that a sad truth? One HC is not in the playoffs and the other one has already won a playoff game and will be playing in the semis later next weekend.

bk made the semifinals twice, made championship once at ND....also beat A&M in 2023, left freeman with a team that went 11-1 in regular season, he beat USC 4 straight times before leaving to go to LSU, 8 times total at ND

Rhet Lashlee will be the next coach at Arkansas. Anybody who thinks otherwise is just stupid. Especially if HY leaves. New AD will be forced to hire him by the Springdale folks.
