A little love from your friends in Alabama: Goodman-AL.com
quote:

They got losers empowering losers in Baton Rouge rather than real leaders hiring people of true character.

Ironic, coming from a Bama homer, when they have been doing NIL for decades before it was legal.
quote:

LSU is the best job in college football, but for whatever reason the university’s good ol’ boy network seems determined to sabotage the team’s potential with buffoons rather than a coach who can build a dynasty.

quote:

Fear the Tigers if they empower a steady leader to run that program because LSU doesn’t need a splashy hire to win.

Interesting how much space we occupy in their heads, and how terrified they are of us getting this hire right.

Every toothless wonder in that putrid state, from Saban on down, knows that if LSU (Woodward) gets this right, their party train with biscuit wheels is coming off the tracks!!!

I just skimmed through it, but a lot if it is not wrong. We have been our own worst enemy. I think that ends with SW though and he gets this hire right, no more clowns

We've won a NC with the GOAT followed by two certified morons. A serviceable HC that can hire good coordinators and get out of the way would win us a Natty.

Well yeah, it even says so in that article. Says that we are best job in football and Alabama, auburn and A&M do not want us to get it right.

Historically he's not wrong for the most part (outside of Saban).

I'm hoping Woodward changes this.

Hilarious coming from the state that elected a known pedophile to their Supreme Court and a football coach who couldn’t even name the 3 branches of the government to the senate.

Saban is more attainable. It's the same job as LSU but it's also his alma mater.

I agree. I remember watching Miles’s OSU team getting crushed in the Alamo Bowl and thinking “that’s our hire?” How we won a NC with him and Pelini I’ll never understand—I guess everyone else sucked worse. And O always felt like “frick it, we’ll just do this until Saban retires” until he went and hit the Powerball and made us double down on a pair of two’s. I just want someone competent. Put the fence back up. Get solid coordinators back in. Drop the rapists off the Miss. River bridge. Just be competitive every year and stop embarrassing ourselves!

I do not necessarily disagree with this. Look at the last two hires.

Other than some slight pettiness and insecurity (one might even call it fear), I take no issue with anything he said

Click the link. Actually a pretty awesome op ed. Nearly comes off as an LSU fan.

It’s also spot on.

Imagine what someone with a shred of spine might do. Doesn’t take too much of an imagination. That guy was there before Miles and Orgeron and he’s now at Alabama.

quote:

Trust me, that’s fine with Alabama, and OK by Auburn and Texas A&M. Those schools would prefer for LSU to hire another clown. Texas and Oklahoma, which are joining the SEC, don’t want any part of a buttoned-up Bayou Tiger.

quote:

Both schools inherently give their coaches the ability to build not only national champions, but individual teams considered the best to ever compete.

quote:

Here’s what people in the college football business know: LSU might have more potential than any team in the SEC. Here’s what people in college football also know: LSU’s culture of toxic politics & tolerance for sideshow shenanigans

If you’re a Kiffin pumper, you should be thinking twice after reading this.
