With media rights deals as they stand basically every school outside the above are at a disadvantage and need big booster money to compete.

I guess Miami?

If Clemson was open I feel like it would attract a lot of interest

As long as Cody Campbell keeps writing checks then Texas Tech would be in the discussion

Arizona has several billionaire alumni but apparently they don't give a shite about athletics. If that ever changes then that would be a pretty good job.

Virginia is similar to Arizona but with ever more rich alumni. If they devoted more resources to athletics then it would be pretty hard to beat living in Charlottesville.

Maybe Clemson, Duke, Georgia Tech? Several Big12 schools have money; Texas Tech in particular.

Why? It has been awful in this era. Everything before 2022 doesn't matter.

The answer is Miami. Texas Tech is probably 2 or 3.

Miami is lightning in a bottle... they could go back to being 6-6 next season.

Just throwing a name out there that hasn't come up, Utah.

From the POV of a coach, they are patient and give you time. With their new private equity model, they should be well funded.

The one "big job" that always baffled me was Colorado. What makes it such an attractive place?

I would go with a Texas HC job. Texas is full of money and they love football. Look what Patterson did at TCU. Houston, Texas Tech, SMU, etc.

If I was a head coach I would kill to get hired at miami. No state income tax, great locale and lifestyle, access to talent, what more could you want? They obviously have a very strong NIL game when you look at their roster and current recruiting class

What the football team is doing now has 0 to do with it. It's about booster support, potentialfan base support willing to pony up, facilities. And that would make it Miami and Clemson.

Colorado and none of their neighboring states produce a lot of d1 talent. Lots of whites

They don’t have budget you’d think to go national to get players

That’s one hell of a big “if” though.
