This is Iowa St football the last 30 years.

Highlighted are their winning seasons.

Anyone see the trend starting in 2017 or so?

Pretty good coach, not good enough to be the next coach at LSU.

Who is? For once i wish people would say who their candidate is when they are shitting on a more than qualified coaching candidate.

Can anyone break down his style of offense? I'm aware of him and know he's widely respected but honestly I haven't watched any Iowa St games.

His Offense is slow, slow, slow. We need uptempo - play fast.

They were up-tempo at Toledo.

You don't think that slowing down a game and limiting possessions is a good idea when you're trying to beat Texas and Oklahoma with Iowa State talent?

There is no consensus. If hired the sentiment will be mixed. Unfortunately, that is true for almost all the potentials.

I don't see anything on that 6-year Iowa State ledger that makes me think he should be a candidate for the LSU job. Have we reached the point that we're trying to hire a coach just because he's turned a really bad program into a less-bad program?

Campbell would be a good hire. I’d get behind him.

I’d prefer Aranda or Napier.

He’s not either but he did beat Campbell by 17 in Ames with his Sun Belt team.

the problem with Campbell is we most likely wouldn't have him very long before he jumps to the NFL. On the other hand, Napier just might be a good long term solution.

His recruiting numbers the past couple of years have sucked. I don't want Campbell anywhere near Baton Rouge.

Kansas should have beaten both this year.
