OU's overall revenue stream is larger, but they've traditionally been less inclined to spend it on coaches. LSU on the other hand is not afraid to drop big dollars on coaches or finding different ways to fund their contracts that are outside of the traditional revenue stream (aka TAF).

I tend to agree. If it is a real leak I think it came from Riley's camp to put some heat on OU for upgrades to contracts and maybe facilities.

Recruiting and the coaching hires, the info comes from Orgeron and football ops. There's clearly a big difference between Orgeron's ability to keep things under wraps and get deals done than how Woodward operates.
