Miles is still in the concussion protocol 40 years after his playing days ended.

Maybe he didn't "butcher" the interview, maybe Houston didn't want to hire a HC based on the promise of that candidate bringing in a top notch OC to make up for his own deficiencies. I mean who does that anyway????

Sauce: Miles "butchered" the UH interview by Nix to Twillie

I guess they have never heard Miles talk. im sure he had a Want to do good, but they probably had a hard time understanding just what in the hell Miles was even talking about lol.

Nah, I think he really wants to coach again. However, it has to be a blow to his ego that he is not on anyone's wish list.

It's been said before but he's been Phil Fulmered. Fulmer, like Miles, had marginal abilities but could recruit well (also like Miles). The programs at both places slipped into mediocrity and the train kept a rollin' downhill. No one wanted Fulmer and no one will want Miles.

And people think he's going to be at ESPN. The man genuinely has problems formulating the most basic sentences and it's gotten steadily worse since he got here.

The folks at ESPN will chat with him and soon realize it's not intentional coachspeak, and that he really does struggle these days with making any kind of point (pun not intended).

I realize he had a stroke, but if they can tolerate Lee Corso, they can put up with the Les-speak.

probably,

his contract my require him to 'attempt' to find another job or payments get reduced

but you can always simply try and then sabotage the process

I picture Miles' interviews like that scene in Trainspotting when Spud "interviews" for the job to fulfill his probation requirement.

I still wonder if Miles had a mild stroke and/or has some other medical issue. The jacket at all times attire adds to that question.

WOW. You can't get a more credible source than that.

But you did manage to stir up more Miles hatred this bright Sunday morning, so I guess it is "mission accomplished' isn't it?

It was never my intention to stir up any hate. No mission. Just relaying a message. I even stated several times it was just something I heard and it isn't much. Did you also miss the part where I said "I don't know what to make of that?" How is this some mission to stir up hate? And I posted it late last night, not this morning.

ETA: Oh, Gray Tiger...of course.

Look, everyone can probably imagine a scenario where Miles botches an interview. My question is this: after the behavior of the assclown board chair with the Kiffin comments, why would anyone automatically assume that the fault is Miles'?

I really want some college to hie Les Miles, just so I can watch that ignorant buffoon be a miserable failure at a place without all the resources LSU offered.

Les working for ESPN would be awesome too, for maybe 2 weeks. Les' gibberish would get old quick and viewers will grow tired of it.

I'm so happy that LSU finally fired Les Miles.
