If I am Washington, I hire Jamey Chadwell and call it a day.

They’re weird. They’ll hire the head coach at San Jose State or something off the wall. The only big name hire I can remember them making is Chris Peterson

Leipold or Kleiman.

They both have essentially the same resume as DeBoer and won MULTIPLE Championships at higher levels. They’re keeping their current programs consistent with WAY LESS resources than what DeBoer had at Washington.

They’ll have to rebuild the roster because they’re losing everyone, but they clearly have shown they are very good coaches.

They are both WAY older than DeBoer.

They should throw money at Grubb.

It not only helps with continuity but screws over DeBoer somewhat.

Kleiman is just under 7 years older than DeBoer.

Leipold is admittedly up there in age (10 years older), but he’s probably got 8-10 years left in him if he stays successful.

DeBoer was making $4.2m/yr. Making him 44th in the nation as a head coach. Likely to go with a younger coach with a big upside but potential flop for around the same money. Maybe an assistant

So true, and it will work. Was there when LSU played. Beautiful stadium and views, and very loud.

I would imagine Washington is a more prestigious job than Utah. I’d go get Kyle Whittingham asap if I were them.
