The real truth is this has been in the works for awhile as LSU/Sexton/Kiffin were in contact around the time BK got fired. Which is partially why his son was visiting then.
If LSU swipes Kiffin they'll be the most hated program in the country at how they just keep stealing coaches in playoff runs. Ole Miss would be a hell of a rivalry every year with Kiffin at the helm.
