I agree but have to remember that Maholmes still Isn’t cleared for week 1 coming off a torn ACL in December. Barring some insane performance from Nuss, I think they go with Fields as the safety net and looking at Nuss as backup for the beginning of the season.

Basketball has been terrible for years.

I think they only make a change if they have Wade secured. If that’s the case, I don’t think you hear anything until NC State’s season is over, so it isn’t a distraction for Wade. They can say Wade isn’t a candidate for a job that isn’t open. Don’t want to have another Kiffin situation.

Jay was on I believe Mahtook’s podcast and said he requests early game times to protect arms. He doesn’t want guys throwing in 32° weather. They look at the time for what is typically the warmest part of the day and request that for a game start.
