So, how certain is this thing? Inquiring minds want to know.

I believe Miles wanted to get rid of crowton....He got rid of malveto after a much better perfromance relative to this years offense.....HOWEVER...I think he was told by the AD the money was too much especially with the academic cuts....so I think this TAF stuff is they stepped in and said they would foot the bill but crowton would have to be gone

tyson lee blows, but he is somewhat mobile

their backup was mobile as well

they were 65th in the country. not exactly mind-blowing either

i don't see LSU running an option attack (which is what UF/meyer runs and what gonzo knows) with our QBs

JJ: fast, but doesn't know how to run and hates contact
JL: slow
CG: slow

Considering it's MSU, that blows my mind!

By the way, your analysis or JJ might be the first thing I've ever agreed with you on.

This is the Hope and Change I've been waiting for. If they tell big Lester is resigning in protest of GC leaving, it will be Christmas in January

Early in the year he was running and taking big hits. Everyone said he would not last long doing that. I think they finally convinced him to avoid contact, now people are taking shots at him for not liking contact.

We will see about shep. I still dont think he pkays qb. The guy is not tebow and gonzo would not be able to run that offense with shep. Yeah they say he looks like pat white, well did you see pat get his shite rocked in that dolohins game? That will happen to shep playing against sec d.

what do you mean constantly searching for the next bear? does that mean firing coaches like shula, dubose, and strip club lover mike price?

interference is largely what led them to hire these coaches in the first place...each time they'd search they'd end up down the list because the bigger name coaches didn't want to put up with the meddling. That's the main reason Fran left. Mal Moore is the one who insisted on holding out for Saban, but the board was afraid to wait and pushed him to offer Rich Rod. I guess Bama fans are thanking Finebaum today for making fun of Rod's wife and scaring him off. Yes, they did pony up the money for Saban, but that was mostly luck as Saban was looking for a place to fall and knew Bama was desperate at that point.

Point is, it would be real difficult to hire a big name coach if he thought the athletic foundation would be interfering with him running the team.

If by that you mean filled out a check except for the amount and asked Saban to complete it, then you're right.

They sold their soul for him and better hope he never ever feels like just going on cruise control until retirement.

Awesome news.... I hate the Chicago Bears.

They did me a favor and sealed their fate all in one swuft move.

Why do people think that TAF had to twist Les Miles arm to get this done. Everything I have ever heard points the other direction???

Sounds to me like the TAF backed CLM in his desire to get rid of GC after Alleva balked about the money issues.
