This just shows how right all the LSU fans who wanted him gone 5 years ago were. Instead a bunch of sunshine pumpers kept him around way too long.

I swear you guys will look for anything to continue to drag this man over the coals. Anyone paying attention can see he is enjoying himself and not in a hurry to be hired. He's the kind guy that can find enjoyment outside of coaching. Let it go!

plenty schools would want him regardless of age if they thought well of him. but keep telling yourself that BS.

Agree. A number of schools would take him for his experience. He may seem old to the 20 somethings because they are 20 something, even though they will arrive to their 60's one day if they are lucky. There is something to be said for experience and wisdom. There is something to be said for being a stubborn arse, which cost him his job. Then again, as one poster noted, maybe he just doesn't want to coach any more, but has to keep up appearances to keep getting his check from LSU. But never write someone off because they are in their 60's. Saban is in his 60's. Do you thing anyone in their right mind would write him off on account of his age? I still remember Texas being willing to give up their left nut to get him.

Exactly. Spurrier coached until 70. Many others even longer. Not just in college but nfl also.

But not too many get hired after 64. Spurrier was 59-60 when USCe hires him.

It’s sad to me that so many LSU fans want to completely discredit Miles when he was the most accomplished coach we’ve ever had. It was time for him to go but acting like he was some horrible coach no one would have hired is just false.

I would love to see Miles inherit a dumpster fire and see what he does with it

He is old, he runs an outdated offense, and is getting paid millions to sit on his arse and blog.

No job willing to pay Les enough to lose his buyout would be one that even considers him.

Combination of Age and the fact that he probably would want more money than he is getting in his buyout, and he’s just not gonna get that.

At 64 he would be the 4th oldest CFB coach... Sure you have coaches like Snyder at 74 but it is more of an exception than a rule. Jim Grove is only coaching out of a favor and because Baylor couldn't get anyone else, Saban is setting a standard, but that doesn't mean age isn't a factor

I still think Les gets us to 11-1 this year. The schedule was the easiest we've had since he was hired.

His outdated offense wouldn't have gotten stopped by Troy.
