again, then go tell Joe that BS. that voids buyout.

plenty mid majors would hire a guy 64 if they thought it could give them short term success hell even a major. this age thing is pure BS.

For all of you saying he’s not looking or that he’s getting paid not to coach so why coach, have you actually listened to the man talk in the last year or better yet listened to his podcast?

He’s said over and over again he wants to coach again and is ready to do it

We know you’re naive. You don’t have to expressly admit it.

He doesn’t want that. Executive level contracts aren’t your bag. We get it.

In order to get paid to not coach, that is exactly what he has to say. (in public)

Here’s another one. What was it that P.T. Barnum said? There’s one of you born every minute.

It's very possible there has been interest. Just bc you don't know doesn't mean anything unless you know what happens at every university in the country.

Not every fired coach wants to dumpster dive just to have a job, especially if they're getting paid a huge buyout.

Larry Coker got a (crappy) job after what he did to Miami. Larry Coker. Only an idiot would say that Les Miles is a worse coach than Larry Coker.

I'm sure he does want a job if it's the right one, meaning decent salary, facilities, recruiting base, fan base. Will that job ever materialize? Maybe, maybe not.

Sold one house, bought another house and is getting ready to start building another house.

He’s busy and doesn’t have time to coach.

Because he has to say that.

He probably would coach if a perfect opportunity at a big program fell in his lap. But a fired coach in his mid 60’s is a tough sell for those programs.

And he isn’t chomping at the bit to coach a mid level P5 or G5 podunk U program either.

This isn’t rocket science.

He wouldn’t get a pay cut. LSU would owe his buyout less what he is getting paid. So he will at a minimum get his buyout amount.
