For those of us out of State or not familiar with him, what kind of Power 5 coach would he be.

What is his offensive philosophy?

Can he recruit ?

Terrible. You don't want him.

He only turned around a perennial loser into a Top 25 team with an outside chance at a NY6.

We could do a lot worse.

Also seems to be a real human and not a cartoon character. Improvement over the last two LSU coaches.

He has worked at Clemson and Bama as WR coach. Clemson and ASU as QB coach and OC. Don't know about recruiting.

He is the most obvious candidate to pick if O goes.

He’d hit the ground running day one on recruiting. Just afraid he won’t want to walk into the scholarship numbers mess.

Has he ever recruited for a big time program for top recruits?

He would do GREAT!

That entire staff is sticking together and been very patient waiting in the “right” phone call.

Reign it back a little. Would they be ranked if it was a normal season with every team playing ?

I like what this says about him

247

quote:

There are two coaches sitting atop the sport in college football right now, Dabo Swinney and Nick Saban. Napier is one of the few coaches – the only? – that has worked significantly with both.

quote:

He may have the old school Saban accountability but there’s some new-school Swinney likeability mixed in as well. While Saban can grind assistant coaches up, Napier staffers rave about the environment. There has been NFL production to point to. Three players were drafted in 2020

Damn son, that is an impressive list of recruits compiled by BN. Many are from La.

Have watched his coaching at UL-L and he looks solid. That safety call at App State was questionable....... lol. But his team preparedness and half time adjustments always look very good from what I have seen.

That intentional safety decision, the resulting defense he gave of it has me a bit weary

That was one of the dumbest coaching decisions I’ve ever seen

I saw a highlight of the play and couldn't figure out what the goal of that was. What was his explanation?
