What has he done @ Lafayette that qualifies him for a big SEC job?
-1 win over Big 12 school
-good recruiter
-He finally had a miracle win over App St
-Won conference championship...nope.
-Not a whore like Smedium?
What else?

But you are missing the point: that nobo guy knows only one thing: to hate on UL....I mean if you lived in shreveport and pulled for ruston...what else would you have in life? That is his only perspective into Napier. Just ignore his idiotic dribble.

LSU would be very fortunate to get a guy like Billy Napier. He reminds me of a combo of Saban(intensity and process) and Mullen (offensive imagination). The good qualities of both minus the doucheyness of Mullen.

Agreed. And TBH, I think in normal times that he would not leap, but high jump at the lsu job. But if all the shite that is suppose to go down at lsu really happens (sanctions, etc.), I doubt seriously he would put himself in the middle of all that mess. Then again...maybe he'd relish the chance to do the re-building. Quite a bit of difference between resources there than at UL, lol.
In any event, lsu would be very fortunate to get him.

Yeah, you prob right. And I tell you what, I have such respect for the guy that if it would happen I would be happy for him. I mean we all know if we keep him another year we will be lucky, so it's not like we don't know that it is going to happen soon anyway....one way or another.

Napier is a once in a kind coach imo he worked under dabo and saban and he runs a great offensive system and can hire great staff members. People inside the ULL program have even said he runs his program like saban if O is gone this should be our #1 guy

The one thing that he did that doesn't get talked about too much is the staff he put together. The combo of young talented coaches that also are deep in recruiting the state and surrounding area is very impressive imo.

Apples oranges. Malzahn was OC first at big programs like Arky & Auburn. He was at Arky St for ONE season.

Are Clemson or Arizona State on Arky’s level?

You’re so full of shat. No way LSU or any other respectable SEC school hires HC direct from SBC.

Please let these schools know they screwed up ASAP

Auburn- Malzahn
Ole Miss- Freeze
Missouri- Drinkwitz

For those of us out of State or not familiar with him, what kind of Power 5 coach would he be.

What is his offensive philosophy?

Can he recruit ?

LSU would be perfect for him!

You will love the way he gets the house back in order

You will love his recruiting

You will love the coaches that he brings in

You will hate his conservative play calling

Conservative due to him not completely trusting his QB....
