If Jimbo says no

Why should Ed Orgeron get the job over those two based on resume's?

I'll wait

He's won over the very simple minds of a particular group of LSU fans. Nuff said...

He's 4-1 at LSU while Mullen and Fedora are 0-0

He doesn't. He does have what no candidate has-actually coaching most of a season at LSU.

that's the truth! HOWEVER, He has something infinitely more important, current actual success coaching AT LSU. He has turned around, not just any program, but the actual program of the school he is applying for the job at. How many coaches across this country, NFL or college, can say that they turned the LSU football program around in the year of 2016? only one and that man is Coach Ed Orgeron!

actually he does have A BETTER RESUME than Mullen or Fedora to be HEAD COACH AT LSU. He doesn't have a better resume than them to be a head coach at any other school in the country, but he does have a better resume than them to be head coach at LSU.

He doesn't. He's performed admirably in leading a very talented team against a schedule in which he may win all the games he's favored in and lose the one he's not. It's not the typical interim situation where a coach is assuming control of a crappy team.

His 7 game stint as an interim at LSU in no way outweighs what either Mullen or Fedora have accomplished, nor does it erase his total HC record, including his failure at Ole Miss.

That's one of the dumbest arguments I've ever read. The current LSU team was not some 9-10 win ceiling team. This was supposed to be a national championship caliber team and Miles basically sabotaged them. Any coach could have won with this team.

neither of those guys is a home run hire. they both have some HC quality, but why hire second tier?

O offers continuity and recruiting prowess.

BECAUSE THEY ARE PROVEN HEAD COACHES WHO HAVE SUCCESS RUNNING A PROGRAM.

I know its hard for your small mind to wrap around but Orgeron fricking sucks.

so because other coaches who you admit have a better resume', you're holding it against them that they've never coached at LSU

that is seriously some dumb shite

nvm who would be a better coach
