So what’s the deal with all the LSU coaches following Riley on Twitter then?

If it truly never was a done deal, why did they go follow him? Was it Woodward’s way of “recruiting” him to be the coach? That part just doesn’t make sense. UNLESS Riley really was a big smokescreen.

Smokescreens only work when you are going after a bigger fish. There is no where else to go but down. Regardless of the hire it will be trash in comparison. Not usually the job of a smokescreen to disappoint an entire fan base.

I just don't see Woodward not already knowing this. If you think he just found out from that comment that he wasn't coming, you're crazy. He's probably known for a while and has been letting the rumors fly around to hide whatever else he's doing.

I am no insider! I talk to a very well-respected and major donor once or twice a year and that time was yesterday. He was 100% sure if what he was saying. That’s all I got. Don’t know what else to say. Either all the donors are in on one massive arse smokescreen or they too got played.

They follow the smoke just like everyone else. I truly believe we'll have an announcement next week with a name but LR was always the logical conclusion of who LSU fans would want. I honestly have no idea, no one has any idea. The whole process is buttoned tight, just have to wait.
