Riley is far and away the best candidate

But don’t think he even listens. I think we’d have a legit shot if they stayed in the big 12. But with them possibly being in the same pod as us I don’t see it.
And he is very grateful to Stoops for giving him the job and bleeds Crimson. OU can pay too
He would wreck shite at LSU but he might get a title this year and has a Heisman QB for the next 2 years.

Riley graduated from Texas Tech in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science. He and his wife Caitlin have two daughters, named Sloan and Stella, and two pets Sooner and Boomer.
Well, that would be awkward.

I agree. I keep hoping the candidate behind closed doors is Riley.

This is like LSU fans claiming they will get the best coordinator's then end up with two guys who never actually called a play in-game.

Damn, I was prepared to come in here with an upvote and then read you say he won't listen.
I disagree with you 100%. The fact that OU is coming to the SEC then makes the move more understandable. OU struggles to go unbeaten in a bad conference just to make the playoffs. Now imagine them in the SEC.
If anything, that is the very reason to make the move. He could recruit even better defensive talent at LSU, IMO.
Riley is by far my #1 make him say no coach. I absolutely try to sway him over.

Lol.
If we are talking “far and away the best candidate who won’t even listen,” you may as well list Saban.
If Riley “won’t even listen,” then Riley is not a candidate.

And, I see them moving to the SEC as a reason that he'd want to come to LSU. He's got a better chance of winning in the SEC with LSU than he would with Oklahoma. But, I do agree that he's OU through and through, and they will pay him. Woodward will burn the candle at both ends for him, though.

I think the emergence of Caleb Williams may take him off the board. He's got a superstar QB for the next two years.

This is like the entire state of Alabama being so illiterate that it thinks apostrophes make nouns plural.

I mean he can come to. He seemed to want LSU until Brady left.

He seems to have done pretty well with that degree. What do you have a degree(s) in?

LSU when OU finally joins the SEC

Lol why would Riley leave Oklahoma for LSU? I want the Cincinnati head coach. He has built that program from nothing.

I just don't get what would be the appeal for him since OU is joining the SEC eventually, unless he wants in NOW.

He did not build the Cincinnati program from nothing. Brian Kelly did that.

That's what I'm thinking. OU is consistently a Top 10 ranked team that already gets very good offensive talent, and by merely being in the SEC, they should eventually be able to attract pretty darn good defensive talent as well to have as good a shot of winning the SEC as any other team not coached by Nick Saban.

Lincoln can just introduce himself to Walker Howard.
