JIMBO

Yeah... Jimbo at A&M, Chip at Florida, Saban at 'Bama... and LSU is led by Ed Orgeron.

God help us all, this could get ugly.

A&M could lose to be 0-8 vs LSU and still end up trolling the shite out of them.

Why do Aggies feel like they have Jimbo wrapped up?

Been arguing this forever even though I’m still not sure Florida gets Kelly.

Where would this leave The Chief? While not really SEC caliber, he could be the defensive king in the Big 12.
Sarcasm [ON] off

I am very concerned about what will happen to Chavis if A&M fires their head coach...

The folks who cover our program have been reporting he’s out for weeks. Basically since we lost to MSU in late October.

Not sure why people downvote but all those coaches have proven track records of success

Definitely don't want any of them in the SEC

As far as Jimbo to A&M, the Insiders are all saying it is extremely likely. That includes Liucci, who usually is reserved

IDK who that is.

Are you saying that people with really strong track records of getting it right are all saying the same basic thing: Jimbo to A&M?

He's talking about the guy who runs and part owns the biggest A&M board. Who also happens to be close personal friends with Sumlin going back to long before he was HC. His point is: not only does this guy have skin in the game (reputation), he's also Sumlin's BOY and would not falsely report his firing or trumpet a particular replacement unless he was certain it was true.

Liucci is basically an extension and mouth piece of the athletic program. At the bare minimum it suggests interest between both A&M and jimbo

Well there goes watching a good game with this cloud over the aggies head. Or will they help blow it up in the admins face by going balls to the wall to spank lsu??

In 2007, everyone knew Fran was going to be fired after the Texas game, and assumed that A&M would just roll over and play dead. Instead, the coaches threw caution to the wind, the team played loose, and beat a highly favored Texas team. Beating LSU in Baton Rouge would be a surprise, but not a shock, if that makes sense.

Next question is who does FSU get to replace Fisher?

Taggart should get the first call. It should get a ton of interest. A top 10 job.

Are FSU people taking any stock in these Jimbo reports?
