Orgeron is going to be the coach next year unless we get Herman or Fisher. Even if we lose every game the rest of the season.

This has been Alleva's plan.

Sorry, sir, Alleva won't have a job if Ogeron loses the next three and Alleva names him as HC. I don't care if Herman and Fisher and all others say no. You let Alleva hire Ogeron as Head Coach after even losing 1 of the last 3 games and it won't be long and Alleva will be having to look elsewhere for employment.

I don't think Aranda would have a problem hiring a good OC. He's so knowledgeable. I would think that he'd just have to go out and get a guy that would give him the most problems on the other side of the ball. A guy with an offensive scheme that he would least want to face.

Who does that sound like from the past? When are the fricking coaches gonna get it? You can't beat Bama going toe to toe with them. The Bama D will have something to say about execution trying to be stubborn like that. The fact that Esminger/O thought that was a great game plan is beyond me.

The offense we seen last night was even worse than any I have seen under Miles against Bama since 2011.

Please explain how these two guys would not succeed at LSU.
HERMAN: already has a team falling apart at houston. he's a goal line stand and an 18 point comeback (vs a team that was 0-12 last year) from being 0-4 this month. he's not ready for this.

KELLY: college football has changed since he left. a hundred teams run his system now. read this.

he won before because teams couldnt adjust to his system in just one game. now they see it all the time. we see it in ole miss. combine that with the fact that he never liked recruiting, and he'd be a wreck here.

well i didn't say Aranda would be. I just said I wouldn't oppose it if he wanted it. I have confidence he gain handle it. My biggest concern would be what OC can he pull. However, with the LSU bank we can pull just about anyone.

Im completely fine if we win out and hire O because I'm sure he will make changes to the offense. Im also pants off if we hire Herman or Jimbo because they keep Aranada.

Once we get past that its touch and go as far as who we hire

Yup. Even in my drunken melt last night I felt that I would still take O over someone like Fleck. I'm sorry, but Fleck just seems like too big a tool. He may end up being the best damn coach ever, but I still have my doubts

He's about as gimmicky as O. Does no one remember Wild Boyz at Ole Miss?

At this point I'd rather Aranda than anyone else. He's smart, articulate and calm. He seems like a quiet sort of leader, which would be nice.

I'm sure bama fans are calling for their oc's head and belittling saban today. They were held scoreless for three quarters and only had one td in the game. They average 50 so it must be time for a change. Some of our fans are clueless. I will just leave that here.

This is still a miles offense. Can't change the offense until the offseason. Not sayin O is the answer but this wasn't on him. Ensminger was our only option. Enough said

LSU played great defense yesterday but couldn't score a point so they lost. Great offense + defense win the ship actually.

old saying is defense wins championships but offense wins games. IOW, you have to SCORE ENOUGH to help your defense

he thought that was a great game plan. Its more likely he thought that was his best chance was to keep it close and hope to bust a play on them

I'll buy that. He said pregame his key to the game was no turnovers.

But that was the wrong approach, because no team can beat Bama with a defensive , conservative game plan. It just don't happen, because they don't make enough mistakes.

That's where O should be faulted....and it's a BIG fault.

Chip Kelly HAS AN NFL JOB. How many times must it be said? The 49ers certainly didn't bring him in to win this year. He's not even close to being fired. Chip Kelly's agent is actively telling schools no.

Stop making excuses for O when just last week he was getting a kinds of credit for the offensive explosion the past 3 games.

The fact is, 5 weeks is PLENTY of time to install something a little different. More read options for instance. Those are easy plays.

Also, the mizzou and OM games had a lot of successful plays that weren't touched against Bama.

Face it, the coaching staff (O included) thought the best plan was to play great defensive, don't take any chances on offemse, and limit turnovers.

This was the worst game plan in years. Right up there with 1/9/12 and auburn 2006. Difference with this game, everyone knew that plan wouldn't work...except the coaches.
