Did he get fired or just not retained by a new coach? I thought ncsu had a coaching change last year.
He got fired, and replaced him with Eli Drinkwitz... another great option to look at for OC.

I watched a couple Pitt games this year, and did like what I saw from their offense on those occasions. Wouldn't hate him as an option.

Would be a fan of the hire.
But I'm positive it's Kiffin. There's no way O didn't tell Alleva in his interview that he already had Kiffin on board. He's like the 5th or 6th guy I would want.

82.7% Red Zone TD percentage. If they are also one of the leaders in fewest delay of game penalties, we have our guy.

Canada's offense had looked good all year, and the transition period wouldn't be bad at all. He runs a system that fits our roster day one. This and Briles' systems probably have the least issues with transition.
On the other hand, Kiffin has proven to be very flexible when it comes to scheme, so he would probably adjust to fit whoever the best QB option turned out to be.

#Ride4Canada. Pitt was an offensive juggernaut this year under Canada. Give him our talent, and the possibilities are endless.

O will go after Kiffin bc he wants to be reunited with his boy, you could tell by his presser that that's who he is targeting.

seems to run out of a single back set most of the time...based on my experience watching them. Not a flashy offense by any means but fairly balanced. QB play seems to hold them back at times. The main RB is usually getting tons of carries.

I really wish that he wouldn't hire a personal friend as his OC. That could be disasterous.

It was more of a personality conflict between Doren and Canada. NCSU had some personnel issues that Canada could not address even with Jacoby Brissette. As my friend said when he was hired by Pitt, 24 hours after being let go by NCSU, "He didn't stay fired long".

MUCH BETTER choice than Briles or Kiffin. Let's frickin roll.

Coach O's people came from Canada too. I like it.
And France of course before that, most likely the Southwestern part like most Acadians (Gascony, Acquaintaine, La Rochelle Giroux area). Look up our history and do your research. My mother and I visited SW France and she speaks decent Acadian French. It took just a day to catch on their accent. Now Paris was different. They talk too fast in French and are different type of people.
