RDU is a truly decent place to live. Yes, inside the Triangle is busy but 10-20 minutes outside of the metro areas, Raleigh and Durham, life is good. 2+ hours to the beach, 3+ hours to the mountains and a plethora of lakes, with culture, entertainment, sports with the several colleges and the NHL Hu...
Freshman wall...this time last year, she was going on recruiting trips and picking out a prom dress, not going against DI athletes 6 days a week......
Self storage is an incredibly lucrative franchise...many can be managed off site...crazy money!...

re: Private school, yay or nay?

I think it depends on your child. I attended both public and private schools as a child. I taught for seemingly ever, both in public and private schools. I think there is the opportunity for your child to be challenged academically at both public and private. Does your child have a IEP or any type o...
An acquaintance told me this story...this young man was a videographer during Coach Saban's run at LSU. Everyday he would walk down the hallway to do whatever chore he was doing at that time. Everyday, he would pass Coach Saban in the hallway and offer a greeting. Coach Saban would offer a tacit ack...
I think that the lack of a d-line coach hampered the defense mightily. Yes, a GA can run the linemen through drills and get them aligned but it's coaching every play and every practice. When Coach Jenkins was at LSU in his first tenure, he coached every dang second...hand placement, reads, alignment...
The NCAA was woefully unprepared for this tidal wave called NIL. They have abdicated responsibility for governance and that misstep has allowed this change. I played D1 football and was a GA at a D1 program and my experience told me that a. if you were on scholly and the staff wanted to get rid of y...
A previous post mentioned the USC-LSU game in 1979...USC had an amazing collection of talent on that team. Marcus Allen was the second best tailback on the team so they moved him to fullback! Brad Budde, who would play several Sundays and the son of a Super Bowl winner said that Tiger Stadium made a...

He’s TJ Finley with a better motor. One read type that was made much better by a stifling ncsu defense. He is persona non grata here in Raleigh as he packed it in prior to the end of the year when needed most due to his desire “to redshirt but not transfer”…oops!...
Is it a private school or a charter school? ...
He's BEEN getting calls...JD at LSU and Desmond Ridder at Cincy...yes, he's getting calls....
I would think that it has to do with the general atmosphere of the entire football program...academic accountability, to meetings on time, effort at practices in season and off season...I was a GA at an SEC school several years ago and one of my "jobs" was to walk a very, very talented QB to English...
LSU-USC 1979...I was at every game, home and away, from 77-83 and I've never been in a louder stadium. Amazing......
Ponder this a minute...LSU's LB's are at best, average. The secondary is playing with true freshman and transfers from lower tiered schools...The greatest indicator of what LSU's LB's and secondary IS was displayed when Milroe steamrolled the DB on the sideline. LSU has an elite, historic offense lo...

Subconsciously, you've achieved all of those goals you had at 21...business success, monetary stability, relationship stability...you've reached a threshold, you've checked all of the success boxes, so now, find something that YOU really want to do. What is pertinent, what is substantive, what is me...
Pete Jenkins is so well respected in the football community…he has “his guys” spread throughout football who have adopted and embraced his teachings of d line play. As for dc duties at lsu, he was that only in title. Buddy nix called the d in ‘82 and 83…Technique and assignment issues will not be a ...
If ever a man was built to coach, it's Pete Jenkins. He is an amazing d-line coach...he's also someone who will have the ear of House, making suggestions on schemes and personnel. ...

This...Greg Brooks making adjustments in the secondary is certainly a handicap, the ILB's take terrible angles to gap responsibilities, and the DB's aren't very good tacklers. Great athletes, can cover but 7 on 7 competitions don't allow tackling...just an entirely different mindset when it's 11 on ...
Greg brooks is a huge void with his absence. He dictates coverage adjustments due to motion and formations and is a steadying leader in the secondary by his experience. KJ Jefferson broke how many tackles last night to extend plays thus extending coverage responsibilities…they’ll fix it…...

Truly a brilliant politician...and quite good with the ladies. Took my roommates girlfriend "duck hunting"...needless to say, the relationship ended up like some of the ducks they shot......
