He knows exactly what he wants the do. I don't buy that "oh he's torn" type shite. He wants to coach his his current team throughout the playoffs and then head to either UF or LSU, but Ole Miss admins are going to force his hand and he'll have to earlier

So you think he signed an extension already but refuses to tell the OM players and the staff? That’s as big a douche move causing that much BS inside the program.
And no way he told them all he’s staying and they are just keeping a secret to just lead LSU and Fla on to put them at a disadvantage for a few weeks in recruiting.
He very may well stay at OM but he’s caused some problems he will have to overcome inside that building with this BS. You don’t cause those distractions during a playoff run and expect no repercussions

Lane and Lane's family know what he is doing. No one else does despite all the speculation.

It’s either this or he hasn’t signed anything at all. That whole storyline that he’s begging to finish the season and he’s already signed with LSU… Complete bullshite. There’s no world that old miss allows him to coach another week knowing that he’s leaving and then LSU has their signed head football coach out there with another team. I’d call L K at best still up for grabs. The positive LSU smoke might be warranted with what he said, but until the ink is dry and he’s wearing purple and gold, anything can happen.

That tweet screams pure engagement farming. This is the kind of stuff that makes me automatically disinterested in ever listening to Pates shows.

I find it plausible that he in fact has not known for sure what he wants to do.

I think there’s a part of the guy that has matured in many respects and knows he’s in a good place.

Then I think there’s a part of the guy that’s always going to be the rolling stone personality, attracted to the next big thing and wondering if the grass can be even greener.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s been a back and forth battle in that guy’s noggin the entire time up to present.

Lane’s always been a bit of a socially awkward guy who a lot of people even say they bet he’s on the spectrum.

He’s made some boneheaded moves in his career that he’s fully aware of.

Now because the guy has had success at Ole Miss and has an A+ social media game, people want to act like he’s some cerebral master playing 8-D chess with three different schools.

I don’t know what he’s going to do but I bet he’s been struggling with a decision.
