This is only a shite show because apparently boosters saw Jimbo to A&M and decided that lateral moves happen so anything short of Riley or Jimbo is unacceptable. There WERE coaches available who are much better than O when we fired O. We just fricked up and are now going to facing the consequences.

What was a BIG WIN? That pillow fight against a bad Florida team that also fired their coach?

I agree with you. Not many will though. Coach O is a football coach not an intellectual or a saint.

So you're saying Woodward is just a yes man for the boosters after all.

So LSU has been a well-coached team the last two years?

Lol. No. Obviously not.

But you people need to stop acting like he got 2 years. He was fired after the win against Florida. After winning a National title, he did not even get 2 years. And our coaching candidates are noticing that.

Who? Lincoln Riley? The guy who pulled a 180 last night?

You don't get to just write that season off.

Everyone in college football played under the same circumstances.

Not to mention, if he's recruiting at such a high level, he shouldn't go 0.500 in the following two seasons.

Orgeron gave no indication that the next two seasons would be any different than the last two have been.

LSU should not be a 0.500 caliber football program, I don't care who you lose in one year.

We were a year away from slipping into another Ice age of LSU football if O wasn't fired.

Joe Burrow was the only thing that prevented the decline from happening earlier than it did.

Such a dumbass. I’m a cheerio now. Lol.

Orgeron should have been fired. I want him gone. It should have been done today though. After 2 full season of garbage football. Not 1.25 seasons. Yes that matters. It’s obvious now.

Is 1764 the year you were born? I appreciate what O did for the 2019 team but winning the last game of the year on a last second play just to become bowl eligible is not the kinda football LSU fans should expect.

We’re here. Our two worst seasons in 2 decades with tons of transfers and opt-outs. LSU roster will need to be rebuilt.

He hired Pellini without an interview. With a good defense that team would've been no worse than 8-2.

You have no idea WHY he was fired. What you read and what reality is can be a chasm. I believe he was for cause with everything else as a result of BLM, Title IX, honoring the position, etc. they just couldn’t admit is because of the ongoing lawsuits.

University that will pay $12.5 million. Proven track record of players that are NFL caliber coming to the school. Willingness to pay assistant coaches whatever is necessary. Great facilities. Proven that average coaches can win national championships.

Two targets turned us down on last coaching hire. At least one and likely two have turned us down this time. The fans are the reason. Unreasonable expectations and not really involved in games. We have cost ourselves coaches by being spoiled. LSU fans won’t want to hear it, but this is our fault, not Woodward’s.

I think YOU'RE the one that needs to wake up. COVID season or not, Oregeron is 11-11 since going 15-0.

then loses 18 starters and both coordinators

This is an excuse. That's all it is. In the same time frame, Alabama has had 4 different OCs and 3 different DCs. That's one more OC and the same number of DCs as LSU under Orgeron.

So explain how keeping O and paying him what Alabama pays Saban makes sense when he's not producing anywhere near what Saban is.
