If fans dug as hard into other secondary choices like they do Drink, there wouldn’t be any candidates
But he has big teef & is goofy
They dont realize how terrible of a football job Mizzou is.

Dillingham is a really good coach

He hasn't interviewed for shite, especially twice. Want to have the whiny assholes at Missouri clamoring to the NCAA over tampering? Do stupid shite, like frick with a Coach, see where it gets you.

I dont get the hate for drink. have you seen what mizzous record is each year . they always win a bunch of ganes
All the complaints about Kelly are that he couldn't win a big game, but he beat more good teams at LSU than Missouri has under Drink.
He beats up on the UMASS types and has lost to every good team he has played.

There are several former LSU players pulling for Drink in the event Lane doesn’t work out

He was asked about this and was not very adamant in his denial, although that could be the result of the agent coaching the coach.

Drink would absolutely be one of the worst hires LSU ahead made in a very very long time.

former players are stupid. They also want Kelvin Shepard. It is called CTE.

Drink is a complete goober that would not cut it at the top.
100%. He’s fricking weird. People would be immediately pissed off after the first press conference. He’s like a weird Les Miles.
The people that want him just see Mizzou’s record and don’t look and see that Mizzou loses to pretty much all the teams they play that have a pulse.

Adding nothing but what I’ve heard: LSU is just as focused on Eli Drinkwitz as Lane Kiffin. He’s interviewed twice
Accepting as fact that LSU has spoken with Drink twice, that does not mean he is a contender. The list of coaches that an LSU rep has talked to more than once is likely quite long and most of the names of on that list are not likely true contenders for the job, that’s just part of the due diligence process.

I would rather give it to Frank than hire Drink.

Lord of have mercy. If this is true then you better go all in for Kiffin.

Getting drink instead of kiffin would be a fricking disaster. Drink is a complete goober that would not cut it at the top. He’s fine at Mizzou. I would fricking melt if we hired drink.
Apparently there is one member of the BOS who’s pushing hard for Drinkwitz. Knowing that and hearing the rumor that supposedly LSU has no backup plan for not getting Kiffin, leads me to believe that Drinkwitz IS the backup plan. I’d rather have Dillingham or Golesh over Drinkwitz. If we do end up with Drinkwitz, Verge will try to spin it as a good way to maintain continuity within the program since that means that Blake Baker will likely remain on staff. What it would actually mean is that we mismanaged the search and we got stuck with the booby prize.

Why? He’s the best coach in Mizzou history
Dan Devine would like a word. And Gary Pinkel was only marginally worse in the W/L column, though he won or tied in his division 5 times, 3 Big 12 and 2 SEC. Drink has never won his division at Mizzou

Even Hermes from Futurama couldn’t limbo under that low bar
