That's Steve Spurrier Jr.
Weis Jr was Lane's OC his last 2 years at FAU so there's a lot of familiarity here. I'm skeptical but I think it means Lane will be calling the plays next year. Weis has been learning football since he was a kid with his dad at Notre Dame helping with formations. Offensive assistant at 18 at Florida so he's literally grown up in the game.

My cousin coached him in Little League in Cumberland, RI when Weis was the OC for the Pats. FWIW, the kid sucked at baseball.

A, it makes perfect sense because he was Lanes OC at FAU.
B, Their HC is Lane Kiffin. They don't even really need an OC except to run practice.
