Hotels in Greenville and Anderson area will all be extremely elevated in price for football weekend. Hotels in Greenville near Reedy River are really nice and the area will be hopping with football fans but again, be prepared to pay higher than normal prices and you should book early as they usually sell out way in advance of game days.
For those planning to attend in person, you better hope for night game. Day games in late August/early September are brutal in Memorial Stadium. I grew up in South Louisiana and understand the heat/humidity you guys will be coming from but something about that stadium gives little airflow during those times of year and it will be brutally hot in day time.
Kelly inherited worst situation of the two. However difficult to compare records of coaches as Kelly has had benefit of transfer portal which obviously Saban did not, so rebuild slower back then. Conversely, because of lack of transfer portal, Saban had better continuity of roster management. Bottom line, difficult to compare eras, but interesting that records are so similar. Encouraging to me for future.
Is it possible Harold is one trick pony? See QB - GET QB!
Problem is, if that is what he is and he is only that, then offenses can scheme around it and thus he is a useless player on the field other than being someone who occupies offensive schemes. To the extent this is true, then other players have to make plays.

I don't know what the truth is but Harold just lining up on edge and having a field day like the Arkansas game 2 years ago are not likely to be recurring events simply because the film is out there and he better learn how to be effective in a team role or he will not make an NFL roster.
I agree with Carlos Carson. I was a kid escorting people to their seats with my Boy Scout troop in the 70’s. I remember sitting on the steps in the upper section of south end zone after game started and watching LSU beat Wake Forest 77-0. I became an LSU Tiger for life that night. Tiger Stadium was like a carnival ride to a boy. I went on to graduate in early 80s and I still proudly display that diploma and a model of tiger stadium behind me for others to see on teams calls, etc. Great conversation starter.

Hard to believe that was over 40 years ago.
Agree. Hope he is learning how to win. Got to get there to learn so hopefully he learns like Schauflle has. X went a long time without winning a major before he has now won 2 in same year. Hopefully Burns learns that as well.

Milam injury?

Wonder what his issue is. We need Mr clutch tomorrow
Me too. Just went back to vivid seats website and they show availability. Purchased 2019 national championship football and various other sporting tickets through them without issue. They are more expensive than your link to unc website indicate.
That is odd. I got confirmation of my tickets through vivid. Said they were selling fast then went back to web site and vivid then showing it sold out. Vivid was listing them with team names in both Friday games. I’m assuming unc shut it down while I was getting my tickets.
I’m in for Friday game. I got tickets through vivid seats but now shows sold out. Lots of tickets to unc vs. liu though. Should tell you something. I live about an hour south in pinehurst. Looking forward to seeing my tigers play in person for first time in quite some time.
Prepare, it will be hot as Hades in Columbia in Sept.
Hotter than BR.

All these comments about Saban still being in the building and looking over his shoulder remind me that Saban will be guiding new coach on things like recruiting, staffing, etc. Saban still gonna be involved at BAMA.

Sherrone Moore would be Michigan's immediate hire

If so, I like my chances to playoffs better at Washington against Moore at Michigan than at BAMA against SEC in a world i've never coached in before, if I'm DeBoer.

If I'm DeBoer, I wait and either stay at Washington or go to Michigan where he has coached in that part of the world before. I would negotiate slowly with BAMA and try to squeeze money out of Washington to stay. Rumor was he was in line for Seattle position to replace Carroll at one time. I have no idea if that is still a thing or not.
Makes sense Pelican. I would think Norvell would jump at the chance to get to SEC and out of ACC. That legal wrangling will drag on for some time. I'll bet he's reaching out to whoever pushes that twitter button to get them to sit tight, as we speak. Agree, you keep doing your job, though.
