Bring in a TEs coach, LBs coach (maybe a OLB coach and Freeman handles inside) and Bo Davis to DL.

Freeman would be like aranda.

His specialty is linebackers

Why do yall want calloway as oc?
Just keep him on staff as qb coach

Just to let you know, it would be a mistake to make him the oc. Its too soon

Because they all think they are some kind of talent evaluator but they are not

Oh it’s settled. Thanks for letting me know. It was too soon for Joe Brady too I guess.

Because he's young and unproven, so clearly he'll work out just like Brady did.

The rant isn't sure who they want, they just know they want someone young.

Stop making threads with a wish list in the title as if it’s being reported.

I think Freeman is going to be the guy. The 3-3-3 variant of the 335 is all the rage right now.

Here's my very uneducated question… Why is the Tight ends coach necessary? Why can't the tight ends work half the time with the offensive line coach and the other half the time with the wide receivers coach?

I've always thought that too.

It isn't and we already have a tight end coach from mcneese on staff as GA or something.

He isn’t ready for that big of a step up. From what I have heard he has a lot of maturing to do.

What makes Calloway ready to OC a big P5 school?

I wouldn’t melt if that happens. I just have to trust the decision makers to decide if Calloway is ready or not for the OC position.

At a minimum, I think Calloway should be PGC.

One thing to consider is that Calloway does already have experience in play calling. He was OC at Samford before he was hired.

I understand that's not LSU and not against SEC defenses. But, it is more play calling experience than Brady had when he got here.

He is more proven than Brady was when he came in. Callaway has actually been an OC before.

LSU hasn’t had a TE coach in years. It’s currently handled by a GA.

Which is a smart move, imo.
