No, he needs to screw going the “diverse” route, and hire the best possible person for the job regardless of “diversity”

For the love of god stop saying this to literally any hire we could make

We could hire Joe Pesci as OC and someone on this board would go “well you know Joe Brady didn’t have much experience before he got here....”

It really is wild

Joe Brady spent 2 years at Penn State and 2 more with the Saints. That a pretty big jump from FCS.

The fact is Calloway was here this year. What the frick happens? If O and E think he’s the guy why hire Linehan? Why is Calloway contributing more thisnyear?

There are guys out there who have coaches too 10 FBS offenses. How are they not better options?

Why? So feelings aren't hurt?

The world really doesn't care about diversity. It cares about results.

The sooner an individual realizes this, the better chance they have to be successful.

Reverse discrimination is still discrimination. Hire the best candidate regardless of ethnicity.

They seem to be very popular in the pool. Calloway is great with the qbs and knows Brady’s system

He wasn’t even at LSU last year ..... please get facts straight before posting.

ALSO ..... joe Brady was an ANALYST at both stops .... you act like he actually had any sort of play calling/leadership experience before he came to lsu. Callaway was a proven offensive coordinator with the top fcs offense in the country for 5 years and a Finalist for offensive coach of the year.

And let me give you something else to consider. Joe Brady hit the gold mine and lucked out by coming to lsu the year we had a final year QB passing to FOUR first round draft picks. Anyone could have called Plays in that situation .......

But could anyone have developed three first time starters (two of which are true freshmen) in the midst of a pandemic without a spring?

My moneys on Callaway

I said this year. So IDK wtf you’re talking about. I would prefer If he was on staff in 2019, when the offense was significantly better.

E couldn’t the year before.

Are you trying to argue Calloway is better than Brady now?

frick off.

Thanks for the heads up. Here is what I know about this time of year. Pro teams college teams and agents float stuff out to either draw attention away from the real target, to up the money for their own client coaches who are hot names in general and to negotiate new contracts for their clients because their existing team does not want to lose them. Most of it is smoke screens. Very few have really know what is going on.

Let’s break down your post ........

Why hire linehan? Well, let’s see ......That happened BEFORE Callaway was on staff. They didn’t know anything about Callaway other than his bio.

Why is Callaway contributing more this year? Well, let’s see .... Again, this is his first year on staff.

No need to argue about who’s better than who. I’m not sure why joe Brady is now that coach that every other coach is supposed to live up to.

So I guess you need to go “frick off”

Diverse hire? I don't care if the guy is green if he can do the job.

Do you have any Total Defense stats for the years Freeman has been a DC? I haven't seen any and am curious because I've seen other posters say LSU should hire him.

So? It was Linehan’s first year. If he’s the guy, they should know that.

Because he designed the greatest offense in CFB History.
