100% he is a team player and given a year outside of covid with the talent we’ve got on this team, he and Callaway could’ve been a dynamic duo. They built solid relationships with the QBs who wanted to play for them. Sad how they let the new guys burn down the ship.
The losses were on the defense last year
There isn’t a cap for how much an analyst gets paid.

I’m just glad Callaway is still here to continue coaching him up ... they’ve obviously got a long history and a strong bond they can keep building on.

Yikes? I addressed to anyone who cared to read that I joined because I am a tiger fan who met Russ a while back when I was living in birmingham ... went to a Samford game, met the guy and started following his career and keeping up with him from there. I live in Baton Rouge and joined when I saw he accepted a position here. I’m definitely on board the Russ coaching train .... great guy, great coach, and excited about his career trending upward. Something wrong with posting opinions about someone I actually know rather than making assumptions about someone I’ve never met? I don’t post about other coaches because I don’t know them.

Dude what’s your beef with Callaway? You’re acting like a child attacking a guy you don’t even know? I’m not sure what your agenda is here but back off. You should feel so fortunate being able to sit behind a screen and pretend to be such a big tough guy ..... the fact people have been inquiring about him speaks to the fact that he has a resume and a reputation to back up his coaching and that some of the fans did their research. For you to discount that and make a mockery out of it is totally immature .....
Callaway 33
We haven’t heard what’s happening with Callaway.
Munoz is supposedly coming back
Also been hearing Rodney garner going with him. If pruitts out, Kevin will take over.
No. He’s never been an offensive coordinator
Pretty funny but you actually pronounce his name “George”
Nah Callaway was getting more than he was at Samford as OC, which is over $100,000. They can do what they want to do with the money .... there isn’t a cap
Sounds like it. I just don’t see Callaway sitting underneath these two as an analyst. He certainly doesn’t deserve to. I guess we’ll see

Callaway is more qualified. Bottom line.
I doubt he stays and plays second fiddle behind these guys.

I agree and that’s probably how it played out the last two games as everyone suspects happened this season with Callaway. However, I’m sure Callaway wants the official title and salary that comes with being a pgc!

I’m sorry but Callaway is much more qualified to coach pgc and QBs than mangas is! Heck, he’s more qualified than both the guys being interviewed seeing as they’ve only been analysts anywhere they’ve been (because do we really need to count mangas’ stint at w&m) also Callaway has a relationship with all of the QBs ..... If he’s left out of the mix, he’s not sticking around for an analyst job

Let’s hope because if he doesn’t get promoted, he gone!

That first quote speaks more on E’s character rather than facts about what actually went down in the box. E is a humble man. He doesn’t want the attention. He’d gladly give it to another guy to better his career. And I never said he didn’t call ANY plays. But E certainly had the power to call plays anytime he wanted and override anything he didn’t see fit. Do you know for a fact that that didn’t happen?

Ensminger was the guy. Believe what you want to believe. Every single player and guy in the building will tell you that. Joe Bradys rise to fame was a recipe created with an exceptional group of players, a humble oc taht doesn’t want to argue the fact that he, in fact, was the playcaller (he just doesn’t care about getting credit), and the joe Brady media crew blew his name up

Like I said, it’ll all play out. Give it time. And it probably won’t take much time .........
