Don't you think there's a little too much academic (and northern) snobbery for ND to hire Les?

Um. What?

Led graduated from michigan, and they are about as snobby as it gets academically. You act like les is a southern baw.

I tend to agree. LSU are rightfully pisses at les and claiming he can't succeed without LSU talent.

But I think the college football world thinks very differently about him.

I think he gets picked up at a top 2nd tier school at least, if not an elite school. I could see him at ND, Penn st, or maybe even FL st if jimbo comes this way.

I doubt that Les is going to coach any school in the Big 10. He will have to coach against Michigan and that is something he has said in the past he will not do unless forced to play in a bowl game. I would think an ACC team or Big 12 school will hire him.

LOL at Anyone thinking Purdue could get Les Miles. 0 chance.

To those thinking "would be a great hire for Purdue"... Lol, well yeah... Would be a fricking grand slam for Purdue.

I'm not saying Les will get back into coaching or not, but I can guarantee you that if he does it will not be at Purdue.

If things fall into place, Les Miles could potentially be Notre Dame's next coach. LOL at Purdue

You're not that smart are you?

Les would be lucky to get the Purdue job...and we don't want him. Recruiting would for sure be better but he'd of course want to bring Cam Cameron with him and snooze the fans out of the stadium. 10 years ago Les Miles is a top 3 coach in football. 2016 Les Miles likely doesn't get hired this year

Louisville opens up with Purdue next season.

Petrino vs Miles......please let it happen

Why do you think Petrino will still be at Louisville for that game?

A loss this week and Auburn opens up the ATM to get Petrino.

Um, well... even as a LSU fan, you understand his reputation for being either eccentric or stupid.

And Michigan is far from the snobbiest when it comes to their educational prowess. Maybe relative to their excellence - but you really haven't encountered academic snobbery until you visit the Ivy League. Frasier was a documentary.

If Notre Dame dumps Brian Kelly for Les Miles than they've lost their mind and Jesus should walk off that field.

Sorry folks, he sucks Michigan's Big Blue Dobber too much to go and coach at Purdue. Hell, I sometimes he thought more about Michigan while he was here than he really did about LSU.

No disrespect meant, and I totally understand that Some at Purdue might not want Les... Hell, we didn't want him here anymore.

My ONLY point was this... regardless if Purdue wanted Les or not, there is 0 chance a coach with Les Miles' resume and ego is taking a job at Purdue... 0 chance.

IF Miles gets back into coaching, and that's a big IF (and i personally don't think he will) it would certainly not be at Purdue.

I will say this though, Purdue is a school I could certainly get behind as my B team if Les were to coach there, even though it won't happen. I guess ya never know, but I would be shocked if Les went to Purdue.

Les will take a few years off collect his checks from LSU then be a "special advisor" for Michigan and after Harbaugh leave he'll comeback and coach OL under Drevno

Les didn't fail at Oklahoma state and dint fail at LSU. LSU status rose under him and the school has been able to pull top recruits from parts of the country LSU doesn't tend to get kids from.
