Are they going to have money to hire a Napier-esque staff?

I’m hearing there’s lots of Elko buzz in their athletic building the last 24 hours

no, Muffchin doesnt know. He's a useful idiot. Its going to be quiet until a hire is made.

I sure AF hope so. Have you seen Napier’s staff? Its on par w our 2020 staff (and includes a few of the same faces)

I’m sure he’s informed, but knows better than to spill it yet. He is “media” and will do what he needs to get subscribers and traffic, but he is also beholden to some restrictions by the powers that be, I imagine.

None of us knows.
Liucci doesn’t either—tho he likely hears the rumors more quickly than most and will probably be privy to the actual announcement a half-hour or so earlier than many others.
I’ve learnt that social media has completely changed how coaching searches are reported. Joe Public expects an immediate conclusion; and each alleged candidate (as identified by random journalists and fans) is perceived as the sure thing … until he isn’t. I’m not complaining; that’s just how it typically seems to unfold. I think we’ve all experienced that to be the case at our respective schools.
I have to give Bjork and the department credit: They did a nice job keeping Fisher’s firing under wraps, and they’re successfully bottling news/updates of the subsequent search as well.

Nobody knows. The dumb boosters and media want the loser Traylor. Ross is conducting interviews and nobody knows much more than that

He didn't know Fisher was getting fired in advance. Doubt he knows anything legit right now.
If Bjork is doing his job correctly, very few will have a clue.

He broke the story about Fisher being fired. I’m not a huge BL fan but he obviously wasn’t gonna leak that on Friday or something. He waited until after the game and when they told Jimbo
And nobody knows who “the guy” is because they don’t have one yet

Liucci knew Fisher was out AFTER quite a few others. It was determined after the Ole Miss loss and to be honest he didn't know until close to MSU game time.
He is not infallible.

One thing I will say for Bjork is that he knows as soon as Liucci learns something, all the fans will shortly.

It was the same when LSU hired Kelly. No one knew until he boarded the plane. Meanwhile every "insider" on our board was predicting Lincoln Riley. He was an absolute lock. They got exposed and don't post anymore.
