Moscona asked him if it takes 100m to get a big time coach from elsewhere, the going rate, will LSU be able to do that
He said no. That he doesn’t believe LsU needs a big time coach or a 100m because Vanderbilt doesn’t and they whooped LSU’s butt. You can find coaches that don’t cost that.

I sit back and laugh when it comes to Landry.....I just do. From bitching over National Anthem b.s. at basketball games to 10 Commandments in each classroom and now this. Also his plan to put out political agitprop of Nat Guard troops to basically hang out on Bourbon Street on the weekends

I’m not a fan of how Landry has handled this, but if Woody had his way Kelly would still have his job. We would be talking about new assistant coaches.

He did. What Landry pretty much said is that he doesn't care how much we pay as long as the taxpayers arent on the hook for the buyout in any scenario (we're not now)

For Landry, it just seems like such a weird hill to die on. Nearly all of the new coach's salary will be funded by TAF, not by taxpayers. Even the buyout, will be funded by private individuals.
